Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は航空機の下部に動力駆動輪を取り付け、自刃
で地」ニを走行できる様にしたものである。
従来の航空機、特に飛行機は、空港間を結ぶ「点から点
へ」の輸送機関で、自動車・鉄道等の併用が必要だった
。又、空港に広大な面積が必要なため都心部での建設は
困難で、「戸口から戸口」の所要時間は短縮されないの
が現状である。
これらは民間航空の発展に大きな妨げとなってきたが、
本発明は航空機の下部に動力駆動輪を取り付けることで
この問題を解決したものである。
自走式航空機は「空港まで」と「空港から」を自刃で地
」二走行できる一方、空中性能は従来の航空機とIi?
1等であるから、中距離以上の輸送について、「戸口か
ら戸口」の速度は全輸送機間中最高のものとなりうる。
この他、一般の飛行機に動力駆動輪をとりつけると、短
距離離陸が可能となる。これは、停止状態からの加速に
ついてプロペラよりも車輪の方が効率がよ(、短距離で
離陸速度に達しつるがらである。
なお、車輪の駆動力は、飛行用のエンジンを流用するも
のと、専用のエンジンを用いるものが考えられる。
