の運動変換機構に関するものである。

して電磁石8に通電すると吸引板11が作動して、それ
まで選択爪5を係止していた作動板12も矢印B方向に
動作する。従つて選択爪5は板バネ7の作用によつて軸
6のまわりを矢印C方向に回動し、活字輪1上の活字2
と対応関係にあるラチエツト3と係合し活字輪1を係止
する。係止された活字輪1はそのまま停止し駆動軸4の
みが引き続き回転する。このようにして各桁の文字選択
が終了した時点で印刷紙16を巻きつけたプラテン14
をインクリボン15を介して活字2に押圧すれば印刷紙
16上に所望の文字を印刷することができる。印字後リ
セットカム17を矢印D方向に回動すれば選択爪5はリ
セットされる。以上が従来の文字選択機構の概略の動作
である。

費電力が小さく、組立が容易て動作の確実な文字選択機
構を得ることにある。
