    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 横長方向に多色を配設した多色印字用リボンを用いて多
    色印字を行なう多色印字装置において、幅方向に印字用
    領域と色検出用領域とを有し該印字用領域は横長方向に
    多色が配設され、色検出用領域には印字用領域の各色を
    指定する手段が設けられた多色印字用リボンと、該多色
    印字用リボンの色検出用領域を一定の空隙を持って挾む
    形で設けられたセンサとを備えたことを特徴とする印字
    色選択機構。
