合該制御弁すは仝図示のように該弁筺eにおいて該エン
ジンのクランク軸に平行する左右方向の水平姿勢に設け
られる式を一般としたもので、か\・るものでは該弁す
は該エンジンの振動を作用されてこれに不用意な切換作
動を生じ勝ちである不都合を伴う。更に説明すれは、該
エンジンは、例えは4−リイクルの直列4気筒の場合、
上下方向に大きな振動を生ずると共に左右方向、即ちク
ランク軸に平行する方向にもその手分程度の大きな振動
を生ずるが一般であシ、かくて該弁すはこれを作用され
て不用意な切換動を生じ勝ちであり、これを防止すべく

のようにばね(5a)に押されて後退勤して両口ツカア

うにした。更に該制御弁(3)は長手にのびるシリンダ
状の弁筺(9)内にこれに沿って摺動自在のスプール弁

後部にこれに固定して設けられるものとする。′該スプ
