In recent years, many structures such as quays and seawalls in ports have been built upright, so if a person accidentally falls into the water, they can use their own blades to climb up these upright structures and escape from the water. It's gone.

Ladders that are currently widely used are those made of metal such as iron, or iron with rubber lining to prevent rust. However, these ladders can be damaged if the ship's side plate collides with the ship when it is berthed. Since it can damage not only itself but also the side panels, it is usually installed in a location where it does not interfere with the berthing of ships.

This invention provides a new life-saving means created through a series of research and development processes, and its gist is not to create a special structure as a life-saving ladder, but to install it on the quay as a cushioning material for berthing. The key point is to utilize the existing rubber fender as is and attach ropes to it that serve as handholds and footholds for climbing.

Examples include cylindrical round fenders and oblong hollow fenders with various cross-sectional shapes such as semicircular, square, and trapezoidal shapes, and these fenders have their longitudinal direction facing the water surface. It is used so that it is perpendicular to the surface of the quay, that is, so-called 1-vertical.

Therefore, by using these, it is possible to provide a suitable means of lifesaving for people who are not good at swimming or those who fall into the sea during the cold season, and there is no risk of damaging not only the body itself but also the hull of the ship. .
