When a continuous sheet-like thermal copying sheet is used in the above-mentioned thermal copying apparatus, the thermal copying sheet is passed between a light transmitting plate and a pressing plate in advance, and the thermal copying sheet is passed between a light transmitting plate and a pressing plate. During thermal copying, an original sheet is manually inserted between a light-transmitting plate and a pressing plate, and is superimposed on the thermal copying sheet on the light-transmitting plate. In this case, if the insertion position of the leading edge of the original sheet is not regulated, thermal copying will not be performed at the correct position on the thermal copying sheet.
The image on the #i1 portion of the original sheet may not be copied, or a large blank space may appear at the leading edge of the thermal copying sheet.

The present invention includes a stopper mechanism that prevents further insertion of the original sheet when the leading edge of the original sheet reaches a proper position, and the original sheet hits the stopper line groove between the light transmission plate and the suppression plate. The document sheet can be appropriately positioned by simply inserting the document sheet up to the original size, regardless of the size of the document, and the stopper mechanism is configured so that the stopper mechanism does not interfere with the pinching of the polymer by the light transmitting plate and the pressing plate. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a thermal copying apparatus with a high temperature.

The present invention provides thermal copying in which a polymer of an original sheet and a thermal copying sheet inserted between them is selectively compressed and exposed by a light transmitting plate and a pressing plate provided in a light irradiation window. In the device, either the light transmitting plate or the pressing plate is rotatably supported by a pivot extending along an axis perpendicular to the insertion direction of the polymer, and the light transmitting plate and the pressing plate are rotatably supported. This is achieved by a thermosensitive copying apparatus which is configured such that the edge of either the light transmitting plate or the suppressing plate abuts the other when the plates are separated from each other and are not pressed.

The thermal copying sheet S is set in advance by passing over the light transmitting plate 3 so as to extend, and when thermally copying one original sheet D, the original sheet is held in the hand as shown by the arrow in the figure. As shown, it is inserted between the light transmitting plate 3 and the suppressing plate 9 from the side of the pivot 7, and is superimposed on the thermal copying sheet S on the light transmitting plate 3. The original sheet D is inserted until its leading edge touches the vicinity of the edge of the pressing plate 9 or the rubber plate 11 (J). The insertion amount is determined appropriately, and the original sheet is positioned.

After the original sheet D is inserted, the light source box 1 rises from the non-squeezing position as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 toward the nipping position as shown in FIG. 3. At this time, the light source box 1 moves upward while pushing up the pressing plate 9, that is, rotating the pressing plate 9 around the pivot 7 in the direction of o'clock 11 in the figure. In the clamping position, the rotation of the suppression plate 9 in the clockwise direction in the figure is restricted by the suppression plate support member 6, so that the pressure plate 9 faces the light transmission plate 3, and the pressure plate 9 faces the light transmission plate 3. The pressing plates 9 are in close contact with each other over the entire surface thereof, with the polymer of the thermal copying sheet S and the original sheet D interposed therebetween. At the pinching position as described above, the light source 4 emits light, exposure is performed, and copying is performed in a thermal manner.

When one exposure is completed, the light source box 1 starts to be lowered from the clamping position to the non-clamping position (J). The light transmitting plate 3 is placed between the portion 10 and the thermal copying sheet 1-8.
It hangs down while in contact with the upper surface of, that is, it rotates around the pivot 7 in the counterclockwise direction as shown in the figure. At this time, the width of the original sheet D is smaller than the width of the thermal copying sheet S, and the thermal copying sheet S directly contacts the pressing plate 9 at its both side edges, and that part of the thermal copying sheet S is exposed to the pressing plate 9. Even if the light transmitting plate 3 and the press plate 9 are attached to each other, the light transmitting plate 3 and the press plate 9 are gradually separated from each other from the pivot end side of the press plate 9 as the light transmitting plate 3 is lowered. The stripping is also done gradually, thereby avoiding damage to the thermal copying sheet t-S.
