CONSTITUTION:A seam guiding device of a device for producing electric welded pipe supports and guides an unwelded pipe body 11 with a support roll 32 having a seam guide fin 31 and other support rolls 33, 33'. Roll holders 34 fitted pivotally with said rolls 32, 33, 33' of such guiding device are slidably attached via sliders to a head 35 and said head 35 is vertically and laterally moved and adjusted by adjusting devices 45, 48 and is further constituted turnably by means of a head turning device 41 via a rack 37 and a pinion 38. The above- mentioned support rolls 32, 33, 33' are provided expandably and contractably relatively with the pipe axis by a fine adjusting device 36. 位置から外れ、溶接ロールの中央部よシ逸脱し、突合せ
形状不良などの不良品を発生することとなる。そこで前
記捻れを修正するため、未溶接管体11をシームガイド
フィン31を含むサポートロール32によシ所定の形状
を保持したままで、へ、ド回動装置41によシヘッド3
5とともに管軸を中心に前記捻れの方向と逆の方向に回
転する。この場合サポートロール32 、33 、33
’に包囲された未溶接管体11は、開口部の一方のエツ
ジ部18にシームガイドフィン31が強く押し当てられ
ることとならないため、開口部の片寄シ、■収束角の異
常又はエツジ部の損傷等を発生することなく、所定の形
状を保持したままV収束点を溶接ロールの中央部に導く
ことが可能である。
