  1. 車両の減速あるいは停止状態を検出してエンジンを自動
    停止し、車両の加速あるいは発進操作を検出してエンジ
    ンを自動始動するエンジンの自動停止始動装置において
    、エンジンの潤滑油圧力を検出する油圧検出手段と、吸
    気通路の通路面積を可変にする通路面積可変手段と、潤
    滑油圧力に基づいて通路面積可変手段の作動を制御する
    作動制御手段と、を設けたことを特徴とするエンジンの
    自動停止始動装置。
