と開口面積の関係を示す図である。 図において、１はエキゾーストパイプ、２はエキゾース
トシャッタ、３はシャッタ開閉シリンダ、４は排気ガス
の通路、５はリーク通路孔、６は堰、ｌは無孔壁長であ
る。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 排気ガスの通路を横断する方向に移動して前記通路を開
    閉する往復動型のエキゾーストシャッタを備えているエ
    キゾーストブレーキ装置において、前記排気ガスの通路
    のエキゾーストシャッタの上流側又は下流側に該エキゾ
    ーストシャッタに接すると共に上端から所定の距離を隔
    てた位置に所定の開口面積を有しているリーク通路孔が
    形成されている堰を設けたことを特徴とするエキゾース
    トブレーキ装置。
