Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of sealing material and improve the commercial value of a lamp by arranging glass frit facing the inside wall of a bulb aperture and sealing an end plate and the aperture end using the inside wall of the aperture end. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped bulb 1 with both open ends 2 is provided with a pair of electrodes 4 impedded at the upper part of an end plate 3.
