９は操作スイッチ、１０は印字ヘッド、１２はディップ
スイッチを表す。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ホスト・コンピュータから供給されたプリントすべき文
    字信号を受信するとともに該受信した文字信号にもとづ
    き所定のプリントすべきドツト・パターンをキャラクタ
    ジェネレータから読み出す′　　　　コントロール部と
    、該コントロール部から供給された前記プリントすべき
    ドツトパターンにもとづき印字ヘッドを駆動する印字動
    作部とを有するドツト・マトリクスΦプリンタにおいて
    、前記コントロール部にプリントすべき文字種を指定す
    る文字種選択スイッチ部をもうけ該文字種選択スイッチ
    部からの出力にもとすいて前記キャラクタジェネレータ
    が当該文字種に対応したドツト・パターンを読み出して
    プリントするようにしたことを特徴とするドツト会マト
    リクス・プリンタ。
