In a heat pipe, a working fluid that transports heat as latent heat by heating and evaporating and dissipating and condensing is sealed inside a sealed tube with one end that gives heat at a high temperature and the other end that takes away heat at a low temperature. A pump is provided in communication with each end of the sealed tube for pumping liquid-phase working fluid accumulated in the other end located at a lower position of the pipe into the one end located at a higher position.
