Abstract

PURPOSE:To copy directly an address on a typical postal matter by containing a card of a suitable length and width ratio in a mount with respect to a typical postal matter, placing it on an original placing plate, installing the typical postal matter to a cassette, and executing a copying by a magnification corresponding to said length and width ratio. CONSTITUTION:As for a card 1, a size except an index division 3 is set to 1/2 of a government postal card or a suitable length and width ratio, a place of employment, a telephone number, etc. are entered on the index division 3, and an address is entered on an address part 2 with a writing brush, etc. This card 1 is contained in a transparent vinyl holder 5 of a mount 4, placed on a glass surface of an original placing plate, and a cassette containing a typical postal card is installed to a copying machine. In this state, when copying is executed by setting a copying magnification to two times or by a multiple of said length and width ratio, the address can be copied directly to the typical postal card. In this regard, the index division 3 is projected to the outside of the copying surface, therefore, it does not stand in the way when copying the address, and the card 1 can be used as an address directory, too.

(Prior art) Conventionally, the main text on the back of postal items such as New Year's postcards and direct mail can be easily printed on multiple sheets for various types of printing. Except for special cases such as, in normal cases, only one sheet is required per item, so it was not suitable for printing. If it was still necessary to print the address, a letterpress or stencil plate was prepared and printed using a printing press as desired. However, it is economically unfeasible to print directly on standard postal items such as official postcards, private postcards, envelopes, etc. as it requires reprinting each sheet one by one. This is the current situation. Furthermore, letterpress printing is difficult to make, and the printing surface is inverted, making it difficult to read.
Although it is relatively easy to create a stencil, it is difficult to store it.
Furthermore, the number of prints for liquid mimeograph machines was also limited. Then, using a dry or wet electrophotographic copying machine or a reflective photocopying machine, the address is copied onto copy paper using a special card base, and this address is cut out and pasted onto the mail. I have something to use. (Tokuko Showa 51-1884
(Refer to Publication No. 6) (Purpose of the invention)
With letterpress and stencil printing, it is difficult to store the plates, and it is not easy to add, subtract, or select individual addresses. Also, when copying onto copy paper, it is necessary to separate individual addresses and print them on mail, just as in the case of various types of printing. In addition to being troublesome to apply, they also had problems such as poor appearance and bland finish.

This invention was made by focusing on these conventional problems, and allows addresses to be directly copied onto standard postal items such as official postcards, private postcards, and envelopes, and can also be used for address books and personal lists. The purpose is to provide a method for duplicating addresses.

(Means for Solving the Problem) This invention has the advantage of reducing the size of the card to that of an official postcard or
It has an appropriate aspect ratio for standard mail, and is compact and can be used as an address book or a list of people, with a heading section at the top for writing in work and home phone numbers, etc.
Insert this card into the holder provided on the mount, place the mount on the document table glass surface of the electronic copying machine, and print it as a standard postcard. By attaching it to a cassette Chemiko copying machine and increasing the copying magnification to 2x or a multiple of the appropriate aspect ratio of the standard postcard, it was possible to copy the address directly onto the surface of the standard postcard. This is a method of copying addresses.

First, reduce the size of the card 1 excluding the heading section 3 to 1/2 of that of a government postcard, place the heading section 3 at the top, and write the phone number and heading symbol of your home and work in the heading section 3. do. The address is written in hand with a brush, pencil, ballpoint pen, etc., or the printed letters of a business card are cut off and pasted on the address part 2, and the written card is stored in a transparent vinyl holder 5 pasted on a mount 4.

If the mount 4 prepared in this manner is used as an address book or a list of people together with the telephone number in the header section, adding, subtracting, and selecting cards is easy and very convenient. And this mount 4
If you place the document on the document table glass surface of a dry type electronic copying machine, attach the cassette containing the official postcard, and make a copy at double magnification, you can copy the address directly onto the surface of the official postcard. At this time, since the heading section is arranged to extend outside the 3-digit copying surface, it does not interfere with the copying of the address in the slightest. Also, write the addressee in address section 2 with a brush or ballpoint pen.

Instead of transcribing with a pencil or other handwriting, if you cut out the type on the business card and paste it on, it will be exactly twice the size when it is copied.
The effect is similar to that of letterpress printing.

Furthermore, make a set of 4 privately made postcards f, make perforations 6 as shown in Figure 3, place them in a cassette, place the mount 4 on the document table glass surface of an electronic copying machine, and copy at a total of 2x. If you make enlarged copies, the addresses will be directly copied on 4 pages at the same time, which is efficient and convenient. Then, a set of four privately made postcards with the recipient's address copied are cut out from min. 6 and used. In the above case, a set of four sheets was used, but six or eight sheets may be selected as desired. At this time, the spacing between the cards 1 on the mount 4 is adjusted as appropriate depending on the desired number of cards.

In this example, the size of the card was set to 1/2 of that of a government-made postcard, but the size of the card could be changed to an appropriate aspect ratio of a government-made postcard (1.15 times, 1.4 times, 2 times, depending on the model of electronic copying machine). Of course, it is okay to do this. Further, the electronic copying machine can be a dry type, a wet type, or a reflection type electronic copying machine.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, in this invention, the card has the size of 1/2 of the standard size mail or an appropriate aspect ratio of the standard size mail, and the heading section 3 is provided at the top of the card. It can be stored compactly on the mount, and is the perfect size to be used as an address book or a list of people. If the magnification of the copying machine is set to 2 times or an appropriate multiple according to the aspect ratio of the regular mail piece, a remarkable effect can be obtained in that the addressee can be directly copied onto the surface of the regular mail piece.

In addition, instead of transcribing the address on the card, you can cut out the typeface from a business card, paste it on the card, and then enlarge it to double the size or a multiple according to the appropriate aspect ratio of standard mail, so that it looks like it was printed by letterpress. Although it is normal for the recipient's address to be obtained and the main text to be printed on the back, it looks good if the recipient's name is also printed, and the effect is remarkable.

In short, in the past, unattractive New Year's cards, direct mail, etc. were made by cutting and pasting pieces of paper with addresses printed on them, but with this invention, addresses can be printed on standard mail items such as official postcards, private postcards, and envelopes. It can be directly copied and has the effect of producing good-looking New Year's cards, direct mail, etc.
