Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to easily make a stencil for desired patterns such as characters and figures with high resolution, by providing a covering film of a specified water-insoluble polymer on a porous base. CONSTITUTION:One of polyesters, polyethers and polyamides having tertiary amino groups, tertiary aminoalkyl acrylate polymers, homopolymers and copolymers of vinylpyridine and the like is used as a water-insoluble polymer having tertiary amino groups to produce a covering film on the porous base. A solution of a water-soluble acid is used as a stencil-making liquid. Particularly when the stencil is applied to household or infant use or the like, an organic acid, particularly, citric acid, tartaric acid or the like, is used. When the stencil-making liquid is applied to the polymer, a reaction product soluble in water or a water-soluble liquid is formed only at the part where the stencil-making liquid is applied. Accordingly, when a pattern is drawn in the stencil-making liquid with a sharp-pointed pen or the like, perforations comprising fine lines can be obtained, and when a pattern is drawn in the liquid with a brush-like pen, perforations rich in the feeling of a brush drawing can be obtained with high resolution.

Traditionally, the methods for making stencils include writing on mimeograph paper coated with wax on washi paper with an iron pen, ballpoint pen, etc., then mechanically removing the wax and perforating it, or applying a solvent, dissolving it, and removing it to perforate it. There is a plate-making method to do this. With the former method, it is difficult to produce large lines on the mimeograph paper, regardless of the thickness of the tip of the pen, and it is not possible to perforate beautiful cursive writing like a calligraphy brush or cursive writing with a large area, and the resolution is also poor. Met. In the latter method, the wax melts at a slow rate, resulting in areas that cannot be completely perforated if the solvent is applied at normal writing speeds.

さらに、穿孔に使用する溶剤は有害であるので。In addition, since the solvents used for drilling are harmful.

The present inventor continued to study based on the knowledge that a water-insoluble tertiary amine group-containing polymer reacts with an acid to produce a water-soluble reaction product, and found that the polymer is extremely stable until it comes into contact with an acid. They have discovered that a stencil printing plate that can achieve the above objective can only be obtained by using a combination of a stencil printing original plate and a plate-making liquid that is a water-soluble acid solution, and further, when performing stencil printing using this stencil printing plate. For the first time, he discovered a printing method that was simple, yet produced printed matter with beautiful designs that people liked and understood.

The plate making liquid is that! , or use it to fill a marker pen such as a felt pen or brush pen with a writing instrument for handwriting or filling in areas on the stencil printing original plate, or use a convex or concave stamp to write on the stencil printing original plate. It is used by filling a stamp pad etc. as a plate-making liquid impregnated body when stamping. At this time, it is preferable to add a wetting agent such as glycols in order to ensure that the plate-making liquid sufficiently wets the pen body or the impregnated body and to prevent drying after filling. By using a combination of a stencil printing original plate and a plate-making liquid, you can quickly and easily create a stencil printing plate with desired characters, patterns, and other designs.

Next, immerse this stencil printing plate in water for a few seconds, or
Alternatively, only the area of the stencil printing plate that has become soluble in water or water-soluble liquid by water treatment such as rubbing lightly with a water-containing sponge or absorbent cotton, etc., is dissolved in water and perforated, and then dried and resolved. A desired stencil printing plate with good properties can be obtained. Similar results can be obtained by treating with a mixture of water and polyols instead of water treatment. If you copy the plate-making fluid with a pen with a thin tip, you will get perforations with thin lines, and if you copy with a brush-like pen, you will get perforations that feel like a brush. Perforations can be obtained with good resolution.

When using a water-soluble liquid such as water-soluble ink or water-soluble glue containing water and/or polyols as the printing ink, the printing ink is applied to the stencil plate after the process of transferring and adhering the plate-making liquid to the stencil printing original plate. When it is placed on a printing plate and printed, only the areas of the stencil printing plate that are selectively soluble in water or water-soluble liquids swell and dissolve with the moisture or polyol in the printing ink, and are immediately absorbed into the printing material together with the printing ink. Since it is transferred onto the surface and perforated, printed matter can be obtained at the same time as the stencil printing plate is made. This method is not a foolproof method since it does not require steps such as water treatment, but it also eliminates the need for a drying step after water treatment, making it an extremely simple plate-making method.
