Abstract

PURPOSE:To make product accuracy uniform, to prevent flawing of the surface and to enable continuous operation by providing a die cleaning device to an apron along the longitudinal direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:A sliding body 19 is slid along a guide 15 by means of a pinion 21 and a rack 13 when pulse current is supplied to a step motor 25. A pulley 23 rotates at the same time and a brush 31 is rotated by a pulley 33 to clean the bending surface of an upper die 5. When compressed air is supplied to a cylinder 27, a bearing box 37 lowers and a brush 31 cleans the bending surface of a lower die 9.
