FIG. 2 shows the details of the stepped portion of the stepped roller conveyor 4. The thick coiled wire ring 3 that has reached the stepped position falls from the upper conveyor 4a onto the lower conveyor 4b, and at this time The rings are unraveled one by one and cooled by a refrigerant (air, inert gas, mist, water, etc. whose temperature is above atmospheric temperature or below the atmospheric temperature inside the heat insulating cover 5) from a refrigerant spray nozzle (not shown).

The object of the present invention is to provide a stepped roller conveyor for transferring and cooling wire rods that can almost completely prevent such a phenomenon in which a group of wire rod rings sticks between the rollers, and that can be easily modified to an existing roller conveyor. With the goal.

In this way, when the coil thrust prevention device is constructed of a plate-like member, if the plate-like member is made of a heat storage and/or reflective material, thermal compensation for the lower surface of the wire coil where the temperature drop is particularly large can be improved. It is also effective.

If the step conveyor 4 is movable up and down, as in the case of a tilting cheeple system, for example, the step value can be appropriately selected depending on the quality target of the wire to be cooled.

以下本考案の具体例を図面に基いて説明する。A specific example of the present invention will be explained below based on the drawings.

If the thrust prevention plate 11 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is made of an iron plate or a stainless steel plate, the prevention plate 11 will also have the function of a heat storage plate or a reflection plate, and the wire rods transferred on the roller conveyor. It is also possible to suppress the temperature drop on the lower surface of the coil.

If it is desired to satisfy such a heat accumulation or reflection effect as well as the impact prevention effect, this prevention plate 11 is not only installed at the position corresponding to the fall of the coil on the lower conveyor, but also installed between all the rollers of the step conveyor. It is desirable to install a prevention plate 11 (see Figure 3).

In addition, when the thrust prevention plate 11 is made of a material that has a heat storage or reflection effect, it is extremely effective to compensate for the temperature of the lower surface of the coil if electric heaters (not shown) are placed on both sides of the prevention plate 11 in the roller axial direction. It is.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, the wire ring 3
When a thick coil is transferred on a stepped roller conveyor, the tip of the coil does not stick between the rollers of the lower conveyor at the stepped position (peeling position), and transfers smoothly and stably onto the rollers. It will be sent to you.
