By the way, road studs in which the two sides of a triangle protrude above the road surface in the shape of a mountain and are lowered below the road surface when pressed are disclosed in Utility Model Publication Nos. 47-33124 and 51.
It has been known for a long time from Publication No. 17718, etc., but all of these are designed to descend when a vehicle approaching from one direction runs over them, and to function as a stopper for vehicles traveling in the opposite direction. Therefore, such road studs become an obstacle when a work vehicle repeatedly moves forward and backward during snow removal work, for example. The idea was to make the front and rear sign swash plates, which protrude in the shape of a mountain, as slopes that allow vehicles to pass through, so that even if they are pushed forward or backward, they can retreat under the road surface, thereby ensuring the safety of vehicles traveling on the road. It is.

To explain this with reference to the embodiment shown in the figure, 1 is a substantially rectangular box with an opening 1' at the top facing the road surface; 2, 3;
The swash plates 2a and 3a form a pair of front and rear, and have slopes corresponding to both hypotenuses of an isosceles triangle when viewed from the side, and each having a slope that allows a vehicle to ride on them.The swash plates 2a and 3a are exposed at the opening 1' of the box body 1 so as to be symmetrical in the front and rear. The rivet body is connected to the front and back in a symmetrical manner by hingedly connecting the opposing top portions 4.

This stud body 2.3 has shaft rods 5, 5 supported by left and right pieces 2b, 3b at the lower end located inside the box 1, respectively, provided at the upper part of the periphery of the box opening 1'. The main bodies 2, 3 are held by passing through the long holes 8, 8 of the side plates 7, 7 in the intermediate plate 6, respectively, and the main bodies 2, 3 are held by the above-mentioned front and rear bullets 9 stretched between the two shaft rods 5, 5. Each piece 2b, 3b can be drawn to each other so that the hinge part 4 at the top and both the front and rear swash plates 2a, 3a are pushed out onto the opening 1', and either one of the swash plates 2a or 2b The rivet bodies 2 and 3 are adapted to descend into the box body 1 when the upper part receives tread pressure.

In the road stud of the present invention, a pair of front and rear stud bodies 2 and 3 housed in a box body 1 are suspended between respective shaft rods 5 and 5 between lower parts 2b and 3b. The road surface 15 above the opening 1' of the box body is drawn so that each swash plate 2aw3a has a mountain-shaped slope that allows the vehicle to ride on the road surface 15 along with the hinge portion 4 at the top. The reflective plates 10 are exposed at the top and can be seen from oncoming vehicles, so that when a vehicle rides on the stud bodies 2 and 3, or when a packet or the like from a snowplow moves along the road surface and comes into contact with it, Regardless of whether the vehicle is traveling from the front or back, the hinge portions 4 of the stud bodies 2, 3 and the swash plates 2a, 3a will not interfere with each other due to the tread pressure load or external force, as shown by the chain lines. By descending against the machine 9, it is stored and evacuated inside the box, which alleviates the impact when a vehicle is run over, and also allows snow removal work to be carried out smoothly. .

Conventionally, in snowy areas, road studs laid on the road surface become an obstacle to snow removal work and have the disadvantage of damaging snowplow packets. A pair of front and rear stud bodies, each having a slant plate with a slope that allows a vehicle to ride on it, are housed in the upper part of the box with an opening, and a pair of front and rear stud bodies are connected by hinges at opposing tops. The hinge part and both swash plates are made to protrude above the box body by being energized by a bullet, so that both the front and rear swash plates of the rivet body will be able to keep up with the road surface regardless of whether the vehicle is traveling forward or backward. In addition to protruding upward and functioning as a road sign, the stud body is housed and retracted into the box body when an external force is applied, thereby alleviating the impact when a vehicle runs over it. When this occurs, the tack body moves downward and retreats due to the external force of the tread pressure from the approaching vehicle from either the front or the rear, thereby making it possible to safely operate the snow removal vehicle, which performs the work while repeatedly moving back and forth, and improving work efficiency. It has the effect of making it possible.
