Claims

A valve plate member is interposed between a cylinder head originally intended for an engine and a cylinder block originally intended for an engine, which is equipped with an intake port I~ and an exhaust port, or within a cylinder block adjacent to the cylinder head. Inside the component, there is an intake passage whose communication with the above intake port is controlled by an intake valve equivalent to that for the engine, and a discharge passage which communicates with the above exhaust port.
