It has a cylindrical core and an electromagnetic coil wound around the core, and a rod-shaped nozzle member is attached to the core, and the tip of the nozzle member protrudes from one end of the core. A fuel injection port is provided at the tip of the nozzle member, and the fuel injection port communicates with the inside of the core via a fuel passage bored inside the nozzle member. A nozzle guide member covering the fuel injection port is attached, a valve port into which fuel flows is provided at the other end of the core, and a valve body for closing the valve port is disposed inside the core. Only when power is supplied to the electromagnetic coil and the electromagnetic coil is excited, the nozzle guide member and the valve body are attracted by the magnetic force of the electromagnetic coil, and the nozzle guide member exposes the fuel injection port. An auxiliary fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine, wherein the valve body opens the valve port.
