    媒コンバータであって、 前記モノリス触媒は、軸方向の長さが中央部より周辺部
    の方が短くされ、かつ触媒容器内の上流側には、排気ガ
    ス流量に応じてモノリス触媒への流入面積を変える排気
    ガス流量制御装置を備えていることを特徴とするモノリ
    ス触媒コンバータ。
