Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate insertion of wire through a rubber plug with increased speed by providing a slave slider having a rubber plug inserting means constituted of a rubber plug supporter formed with a rubber plug mounting hole at the end. CONSTITUTION:A wire carry/hold means B is comprised of a chain clamp body 2 and an auxiliary clamp 3. A rubber plug inserting means C is comprised of a master slider 5 and a rubber plug supporter 7 mounted at the front on the side of a slave slider 6 mounted slidably on the side of the master slider 5. The rubber plug supporter 7 mounted with a rubber plug is driven by a cylinder 11 through the slave slider 6 to collide against the rear end of a wire guide 14 thus to collide the front end 6a of the slave slider 6 against the rear end of a stopper 9 provided on the head 8 of the master slider 5. Here, the rubber plug is restricted by the cover 15 to position the rubber plug reliably thus to insert the wire through the rubber plug.

Conventionally, in a series of wire end processing processes that include inserting a rubber plug, especially a waterproof rubber plug, into the tip of the wire, stripping the wire, and attaching and tightening the terminal, insertion of the rubber plug into the wire has been done manually. However, the following various problems have been raised due to the extremely high insertion resistance of the rubber plug into the electric wire. That is, the conventional method for inserting a rubber plug into an electric wire was carried out in the order shown in FIGS. 1(1) to 1(5).

先ず(1)に示すようにゴム栓すの電線挿入孔す。First, as shown in (1), insert the wire insertion hole in the rubber stopper.

The hole of the rubber stopper is forcibly expanded in step (4), and the tip guide part a1 of jig a is held against the tip of the electric wire C as shown in (4). Move the rubber stopper with the hole enlarged to the turtle #JO side using the suppressor d,
As shown in (5), the method involved passing a rubber plug b through the electric wire O and attaching it. However, with this method, it is difficult to align the tip of the wire and the tip of the jig due to the bending of the piezoelectric wire when inserting the rubber plug, and the hole in the rubber plug is forcibly enlarged, causing permanent damage to the rubber plug. This may cause a decrease in waterproof performance. Also, when inserting a rubber stopper into a jig, the nozzle part of the rubber stopper may turn over and become impossible to insert.Furthermore, if the rubber stopper is cylindrical in shape, it is fine, but if the rubber stopper is square, it may not be possible to insert the stopper in the circumferential direction. There were many problems such as difficulty in determining the direction of the image, and processing capacity was limited, making automation and speeding up extremely difficult.

The annular chain clamp main body 2 constitutes a part of an automatic wire end processing machine, and when the wire W is rotated a certain distance in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the wire W, the wire W is placed on the line of the rubber plug insertion means G by the clamp 2a. It has the function of conveying and at the same time properly positioning the wire, and also has the function of equally pressure-transferring the electric wire, which has been inserted into the rubber plug, to the next process of wire stripping process and terminal mounting and crimping process. The auxiliary clamp 3, which is a wire holding means, is a columnar clamp 3 fixed above the wire W.
a and a clamp 3b attached to the drive cylinder 4 below the electric wire W so as to be movable up and down, and a recess 3 a + for gripping the electric wire W is formed at the lower end of the clamp 3a. On the other hand, the groove 3 of the clamp 31L is formed on the upper end surface of the clamp 3b.
A convex portion 3b' that fits into a1 is formed. This auxiliary clamp 3 functions to fix the tip of the electric wire held by the clamp 2a.

Next, the means 0 for inserting the rubber plug into the electric wire is inserted into the earthen wall 1 of the fixed frame 1.
A parent slider 5 is slidably attached to the inner surface recess of the parent slider 5, a child slider 6 is slidably attached to the side of the parent slider 5, and a rubber plug supporter is fixedly attached to the front button of the side of the child slider 6. It consists of 7. Thus, a U-shaped head 8 is fixedly attached to the front end of the main slider 5, and a stopper 9 is fixed to the center of the side surface of the head 8, which can come into contact with the front end 6a of the child slider 6. head 8
The upper end of the apparatus is connected to the upper part of the apparatus stand 1 by a spring 10. Further, the child slider 6 is connected to the drive cylinder 11 at the rear thereof via a connecting portion 6'. Therefore, the parent slider 5 and the child slider 6 are cylinders 11
After the slider 1C moves forward (to the left in the figure) and its front end 6a comes into contact with the stopper 9, it performs a delayed operation such that it moves forward in conjunction with the child slider 6. Also, when the child slider 6 moves backward (to the right in the figure), the spring 10
It returns to its original position by the action of Further, the front end of the rubber plug supporter T has a rubber plug mounting hole 12 provided with a groove 12' with the front end and side surfaces open and into which the tip of the electric wire W enters.

Next button, the rubber plug supporter 1 with the rubber plug mounted thereon is driven forward by the cylinder 11 via the child slider 6 (in the direction of the left arrow P in FIG. 7) and comes into contact with the rear end of the wire guide guide 14. , the front end 6a of the child slider 6 also comes into contact with the rear end of the stopper 9 provided on the paddle 8 of the parent slider 5. At this time, the rubber stopper is closed on its sides by the cover 15 and is restrained, leaving only forward movement, so that the rubber stopper is reliably positioned and held. Also, at this point, as shown in FIG. 8, the wire insertion hole 21a (not shown) of the rubber plug held in the rubber plug mounting hole 12 of the button rubber plug supporter T is inserted closest to the tip of the wire W. The situation is on the verge. Next, the child slider 6 pushes the stopper 9 further forward, so as the child slider 6 moves forward, the parent slider 5 also moves forward, and the electric wire guide 14, which is integrally installed in the door 8, synchronizes with the rubber plug supporter 7. Although the present invention has a ring-like structure and operating mechanism, the ring-shaped chain clamp main body 2 for conveying electric wires is commonly required for automating various processing steps of electric wires, and is suitable for the apparatus of the present invention. Although it is not essential, it is also possible to manually transport the wire using only the auxiliary clamp 3 as a means for transporting and holding the wire, and in the above embodiment, the rubber stopper supporter T is The rubber stopper mounting hole 12
As described above, multiple rubber plug mounting holes are provided in parallel in the rubber plug supporter so that rubber plugs can be inserted into multiple electric wires such as flat cables (multi-strand electric wires) at the same time. It is also possible.

Since the automatic rubber plug insertion device for electric wire λ of the present invention has the above-described structure and operation, it eliminates the disadvantages of conventional manual operation, namely insertion errors due to loose wires and forced expansion of the rubber plug. The problem of permanent deformation of the rubber plug due to the bending of the rubber plug, the inability to insert the rubber plug due to curling of the nozzle part, and the difficulty in determining the circumferential direction of the square rubber plug, which conventionally has a directionality, is all solved at once, resulting in a reliable and loss-free wire handler. allows the insertion of a rubber stopper,
In addition, by automating the process of inserting the rubber plug into the magnetic wire, speeding up has been achieved, which, together with the reduction of labor costs, reduces costs.
It has remarkable effects such as stabilizing the uniformity of finished products and preventing the occurrence of defective products.
