This type of insulation coating stripping tool has a pair of handles with jaws connected to each other on the tip side, which are overlapped and pivoted in an X-shape near the base of the jaws, and cutting blades are opposed to the jaws of both jaws. It is generally said to be attached and can be opened and closed freely, and the electric wire whose insulation sheathing needs to be stripped is inserted between the two cutting blades, the handles are tightened, and the cutting blade is made to cut into the insulation sheath to a predetermined depth. Later, by pulling and moving the tool body in the axial direction of the wire, the insulation coating is stripped along the core wire of the wire using both cutting blades. Since the tool body must be moved carefully to avoid damage, it is extremely difficult to work inside a switch box or other narrow place.

Subsequently, when the handle 9 is further pivoted upward, the shaft 2 of the handle 9
2, the lower end of the connecting rod 21 is also raised in the same way, but the connecting rod 2
1 is engaged with the elongated hole 20 of the guide member 15 in the stopped state via the pin 23, so that the pin 23 moves rightward along the elongated hole 20 as the lower end of the connecting rod 21 rises. Therefore, the connecting rod 21 moves around the shaft 22 and the spring 24
As a result of this movement of the pin 23, the upper blade holding member 26 whose rear portion is pivotally supported by the pin 23 is loosely inserted into the elongated hole 28 in the intermediate portion. At the same time, the peeling member 33, whose pin 23 is loosely inserted into the elongated hole 35, is also moved to the right side under the guidance of the bolt 16 inserted in the intermediate portion, and the upper blade is held by the guide of the bolt 16, which is loosely inserted into the elongated hole 36 in the intermediate portion. The upper blade 30 and the peeling member 33 are moved to the right in parallel with the member 26, and as a result of such movement, the upper blade 30 and the peeling member 33 are cut into the insulation coating.
The stripping blades 37 also move to the right side, that is, along the axis of the flat covered wire, which is the longitudinal side of the handle 1, in parallel to each other at the same time, resulting in the state shown in FIG. When the opening degree of the handles 1 and 9 is reduced, movement is prevented by the lower blade 4 and the holding parts 3 and 17, which act as wire holding mechanisms that grip the wire, so that the cut insulation coating of the wire is The upper blade 30 is brought into contact with the cutting edge and pulled out to the base, and the upper blade 3 is held in a state where the peeling blade part 37 is bitten into the lower surface of the insulation coating.
They are each peeled off from the cut ends by a peeling member 33 that moves toward the base along with the cut.

In this way, the present invention has a lower blade 4 fixed to the upper surface 3' of the lower jaw 2.
is attached so that the blade part 8 of the lower blade 4 and the blade part 32 of the upper blade 30 cut into the insulation coating of the wire during the stripping operation, so that the wire is simply held between the upper and lower opposing jaws. In this case, there is no risk that the electrical wire will slip out from between the clamping jaws due to the tensile force caused by the stripping operation, and the insulation coating will not be reliably stripped from the predetermined location, and slipping of the wire during the stripping operation can be completely prevented. However, if the stripping member 33 that cuts the stripping blade portion 37 into the insulation coating of the wire during the stripping operation is not provided, the wire will be pushed down from the upper blade holding member 26 side during the stripping operation and the wire will be removed. There is a risk that the core wire may hit the lower blade 4 and damage it, or the upper blade 30 may slip on the outer surface of the insulation coating of the wire and be unable to peel it off.
By providing the stripping member 33, deformation of the wire during stripping operation is prevented, the core wire of the wire is not damaged, and the stripping portion 37 bites into the lower surface of the coating of the wire and works together with the upper blade 30. This ensures reliable removal of the coating.

Next, when the grips of the handles 1 and 9 are released, the above-mentioned reverse operation is performed, and the handle 9 is first pivoted downward clockwise by the springs 13 and 24, and the connecting rod 21 is also pivoted counterclockwise by the spring 24. As a result, the upper blade holding member 26, the upper blade 30, the peeling member 33, and the peeling blade portion 37 simultaneously move to the left in parallel and return to the state shown in FIG. is pivoted downward, the connecting rod 21 is lowered, the guide member 15 and the upper blade holding member 26 are pivoted clockwise to return to the state shown in FIG. 1, and the stripped flat covered wire is released. The peeling work is then completed.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention,
Simply place the wire whose insulation coating is to be removed on the holding part of the lower jaw and grasp the handle, and the wire holding mechanism allows you to move the wire along the axial direction without worrying about it slipping out due to tensile force. Since the insulation coating is stripped, it is extremely efficient and allows the insulation coating to be stripped in narrow spaces. In addition, only the upper blade moves in the axial direction of the tool body compared to the fixed lower blade. Since the insulation coating of the wire is pulled out to the base after cutting, there is no risk of the cutting position shifting, and the mechanism is simple. Furthermore, the cut insulation coating has a peeling blade on the underside. The insulation coating is peeled off with the upper blade with the help of the peeling member which is bitten into the upper blade and moved to the base together with the upper blade, so the cut insulation coating can be easily pulled out. In addition, it has extremely practical value as a tool that eliminates the drawbacks of conventional tools for stripping the insulation coating of electric wires.
