本発明は、活線状態の架空被覆電線等を把持してこの電線を貫通する接触刃を備えた被覆貫通型クランプに関する。

【従来の技術】
電線工事において、複数の電線を接続するときは、電線の被覆部分を剥ぎ取り、電線を露出して接続していた。しかし、被覆部分をその都度剥ぎ取る作業は煩雑であり、作業時間の無駄であった。また、皮はぎ工具を使用して電線導体を磨き接続させていた。そのため、この接続作業が問題であり、剥ぎ取り作業せずに電線を接触刃に接続するものが種々開発されている。

例えば、被覆電線を把持する保持部とこの保持部に対向して配置した基台とからなるクランプ本体の基台の螺子孔に螺合して上下動する螺子棒の先端に接触電極を配置し、この螺子棒をクランプ本体の下端に配置した連結棒を回転して螺子棒を上下動させ、基台に設けた把持部と前記保持部とにより電線を把持し、前記接触電極を移動させる接続クランプがある(特許文献1)。
クランプ装置において電線芯線と接触刃とを接触させるものとして、作業者によって回転させるトルクミッターを介在させてねじ式駆動部材を回転させ、接触刃を電線芯線に接触させる際に、ねじ駆動部材に伝達される回転トルクが所定値以上になったときにトルクミッターが空回りするものがある。この接触刃はクランプ保持部側に単一の指針の接触が配置され、上下動するねじし機駆動部材側には断面凹形の電線保持部材が記載されている(特許文献2)。

このように従来の接触電極は先端に配置される接触刃は複数の接触刃を貫通クランプは開発されているが、機構が複雑であり、接触刃の電線への接触が不安定であった。

本発明の前記課題は、以下の構成によって達成できる。
クランプ本体の被覆電線を保持する保持部に対向して可動ガイドを配設するとともにこの可動ガイド両側端の押さえ部の間に出入する接触刃を配設し、保持した被覆電線側に前記接触刃を駆動する駆動部材を把持部に内蔵してなる被覆貫通型クランプにおいて、被覆電線を保持する面が電線のひれ部を嵌入可能なように凹部を形成した保持部と、長手方向に凹溝を形成して、先端に平行な2本の刃先を有し、被覆電線のひれ部を遊嵌する略U字形の形状とした電極である接触刃と、この接触刃の底面を先端で押圧し、前記可動ガイドを貫通する操作棒と、この操作棒を上下動に駆動し、前記可動ガイドに連接する後端に操作部を備えたねじ軸と、このねじ軸を内装する把持部と、を備え、前記ねじ軸の操作部を回転することにより可動ガイドをクランプ本体の前記保持部に接近、離反させ、この保持部と前記可動ガイドとによって被覆電線を把持し、前記ねじ軸による操作棒の駆動により電極の接触刃を駆動せしめ、前記保持部の凹部と前記可動ガイドとにより把持した被覆電線に接触刃を食い込ませるようにしたことを特徴とする被覆貫通型クランプである。

本発明の被覆貫通型クランプについて図面に示す実施形態に基づいて説明する。図1は本発明の被覆貫通型クランプの概要を説明する内部機構を示す概略側面図である。図2は本発明の被覆貫通型クランプの正面図である。図3は本発明被覆貫通型クランプに採用した接触刃の拡大斜視図である。図4は本発明の被覆貫通型クランプの被覆電線を把持した状態を示す要部拡大側面図である。図5は図4の把持部部分を示す拡大正面図である。図6は本発明被覆貫通型クランプの実施形態の底面図である。

クランプ本体1の保持部2と基台3の可動ガイド5との間に被覆電線4を配置し、操作部7aに工具を挿入して回転するとねじ軸7は回転して上昇せしめ、可動ガイド5のガイド5aによって保持部2との間で確実に把持し、芯線位置を定め、ねじ軸7の上昇に伴って操作棒8を上昇させて端子台15によって接触刃6を被覆電線4に真直ぐに食い込ませる。このとき接触刃6は回転しないからこの刃先6aが芯線に確実に接触する。

ねじ軸7の操作部7aの後端に工具を嵌合して回転してねじ軸7を回転させ、ねじ軸7を上昇させて可動ガイド5を保持部2側に移動させてガイド5aによって被覆電線4を把持する。芯線の位置を確実に固定して端子台15を移動させて接触刃6を電線に貫通させる。この時2枚の接触刃によって電線の芯線に接触する。

本発明の被覆貫通型クランプは接触刃が二枚刃になっているので、強度があり、二段形成であるから耐久性に優れる。しかも回転操作による外筒と内部ねじ軸との関係により確実に接触刃を上下動させることができる。電線のひれ部分は接触刃のU字溝内に入るので邪魔にならず,芯線に刃先が接触する。この接触刃が二段傾斜を有するから被覆電線に確実に喰い込む。
