べて非常に小さい口径なために中びん口元より吊り下げ
る別個のシーズヒータとサーモスタットとの取付けが極
めて困難であり、又、発熱体としてシーズヒータを用い
ているので高価なものとなり、しかも中びん口元に近い
位置で温度感知し発熱体の加熱体の加熱を制御していた
ので、中びんの底部に近い部分の液体と中びん口元に近
い部分の液体との温度差が著しく相違し、特に、揚水パ
イプを中びん中に垂下させた空気圧利用式の魔法びんで
は加熱、保温に対し満足のいく状態が得られず中びん内
の液体が低温状態で吸上げられてしまうという欠点があ
った。
