Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate burr removing and blocking work by extending a lip portion of one of two weatherstrips that have blocking and different widths, and by forming an integral shape by connecting the lip portion with bottom and side portions of the other weatherstrip. CONSTITUTION:The burr generated on the side edges of lip portions 15 and 16 of weatherstrips 6 and 7 is removed and a blocking is provided on inside surfaces of bottom portions 9 and 10 and outside surfaces of the lip portions 15 and 16. Then, the bottom portion 10 and a side portion 13 of the weatherstrip 7 is cut, and a joint lip portion 20 is formed and is abutted to the edge portion of the weatherstrip 6 and placed in a mold. A synthetic rubber and etc. are injected therein and a joint bottom portion 21 and a joint side portion 22 are connected with the bottom portions 9 and 10 and the side portions 12 and 13 to make an integral shape. The inside surface of the joint bottom 21 is abutted to a piece of glass tightly and securely, resulting in elimination of blocking.

The strip pieces 7 are each formed separately by injection molding, and the edges of the lips 15, 16, etc. are removed. and the first and second weather strip pieces 6.
Base of 7 9. Adhesive is applied to the inner surface of the lO and the outer surface of the lip portion 15.16 to adhere the bristles 18. Thereafter, the joint end of the eleventh second weather strip piece 6.7 is placed in a mold (not shown) that forms the joint weather strip piece 8, and synthetic rubber is injected into the mold. As a result, the joined weatherstrip piece 8 is integrally formed so as to be continuous with the first and second weatherstrip pieces 6.7. After removing the burrs that have formed on the side edges of the joining weather strip piece lip part 17, the weather strips are applied to the inner surface of the base part 11 and the outer surface of the lip part 7).
Apply hair transplantation in the same manner as +7 tip piece 6.7.

However, with the above-mentioned manufacturing method, each time each weatherstrip piece is formed, it is necessary to remove the burrs that have formed on the side edges of the lip part and to add flocking to the base part and lip part. Since this is necessary, the number of work steps increases, resulting in a problem of poor work efficiency. especially,
1st. In cases where the joining weatherstrip piece that joins the second weatherstrip piece is curved,
It is quite troublesome to perform the work of removing the tension of the lip part and the work of applying hair transplantation to the base part and the lip part, and this is a factor that reduces work efficiency.

As a means to solve the above-mentioned problems, this invention provides two weathers with different widths that are flocked with hair.
At the joining end of one or both of the IJ tab pieces, a joining lip is formed by extending the lip of that weatherstrip, and the joining lip is brought into contact with the end of the other weatherstrip. The above two weathers are in contact with each other.
Place the strip piece in a mold, and in the mold, attach the joint base part and the joint side part to the part of the joint lip part (two weathers) so that they are continuous with the base part and the side part of the IJ tab piece and are integrated. I tried to form it.

Further, at the joining end of the second weather strip piece 7, the base portion 10 and the side portion 13 are cut to form a joining lip portion 201r in which the lip portion 16 extends a predetermined length. Then, the end of the joining lip 20 is placed in a mold (not shown) in contact with the end of the first weather IJ tab piece 6, and synthetic rubber or the like is injected into the mold to join. Although the joint base part 21 and the joint side part 22 may be formed of synthetic rubber without causing any problems, the joint lip part 20 is flocked with hair, iJ*hair body 18i.
′! Because it is relatively weak against heat,
It is preferable to use vinyl chloride or the like because the time during which the bristles 18 are exposed to heat is shortened. In the embodiment shown above, the joint lip is attached to the second weatherstrip piece 7.
However, it may be formed on the first weatherstrip piece 6 or both of them, and the method of forming the joining lip is not limited to the above embodiment, and for example, a metal mold having a mold for the joining lip may be formed. It may also be formed using a mold.

According to this invention, a joint lip is formed at the joining end of one or both of the IJ tab pieces (two weather strips having different widths) by extending the lip of the weather strip piece. Then, place the joining lip in contact with the end of another weatherstrip in a mold, and attach the joining base and the joining side to the joining lip in the mold.
