Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the noise and the weight by making a hole at the proper position of the partition wall of cast iron crank case then fitting a vibration suppressing steel board sandwitching macromolecular material into said hole. CONSTITUTION:A hole is made through respective partition wall of V-type cast iron crank case. Spot weld vibration suppressing boards 2, 4 pressed from vibration suppressing steel plate while sandwitching macromolecular members 6, 7 in the center are fitted in said hole while applying heat-resistant and oil-resistant buffer rubbers 3, 5 on the outercircumference. Consequently, the noise is reduced while the weight is also reduced.
