Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust easily the direction of an antenna by providing the antenna for receiving satellite broadcast freely turnably possible for being raised and brought down to an automobile or the like and detecting the inclination of a pole of the antenna so as to adjust the antenna vertically. CONSTITUTION:A weight 26 is suspended in the inside of the pole 10 via a universal joint 25 and pressure sensors 27a-27d are provided in every direction arround the pole. An output of the sensors 27a-27d is fed to two sets of differential amplifiers 28, 29 and the inclined state of the pole 10 is displayed by meters 30, 31 depending on the balanced state of the outputs of the amplifiers. The pole 10 is adjusted vertically according to the indications of the meters 30, 31. After the elevating angle of the antenna is adjusted in said vertical state, the antenna is turned and directed in the direction of the maximum sensitivity. Thus, the direction of the antenna is adjusted easily.

Next, when stopping the car 2 and receiving satellite television broadcasting, first, one end of the adjustment member 13 is connected to the rail 12.
The support member 5 is raised by sliding it along the rail 12 and clamped in the hole 24 of the rail 12 as shown in FIG. 2, and the parabolic antenna 1 is raised as shown in FIG. 2.4.5. In this state, adjust the base of the pole 10 left and right by rotating the bolt 6 with the knob 7, and adjust the adjustment bolt 14.
Adjust the angle of the support member 50 by rotating the
Adjust so that the pole 10 is vertical. Means for detecting whether the pole 10 is vertical is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. This is a structure in which a heavy cylinder 26 is suspended inside a pole 1o via a universal hinge 25, and pressure sensors 27a to 27d are provided in four directions around it.As shown in FIG. The outputs of ~27d are applied to two sets of differential amplifiers 28.29, and a meter 30.31 displays the tilt state of the pole 10 according to the balanced state of those outputs. For example, the meter 30 indicates the horizontal inclination of the pole 1o, and the meter 31 indicates the longitudinal inclination. Therefore, the knob i and adjustment bolt 4 are adjusted so that the readings on the meter 30.3'1 are all centered, and the pole 1o is made vertical.

Since the angle at which the broadcasting satellite is viewed differs depending on the area in the country, the angle of elevation is checked using a manual or the like, and the angle of elevation is read using the vertically hanging weight 18 and the scale 19 and adjusted to the predetermined elevation angle.

Finally, the coupling box 15 is rotated around the pole 10 to rotate the parabolic antenna 1 to find the direction in which it can receive the television signal from the broadcasting satellite and to point it in the direction of maximum sensitivity. At this time, it is important that the pole 1o is vertical; if it is not vertical, the angle of elevation will change depending on the direction, and the signal will not be captured properly. In particular, since the body of a car is often tilted depending on where it is stopped, the tilt of the pole 10 is detected by the above-mentioned vertical detection means, and the pole 10 is adjusted vertically regardless of the tilt of the vehicle body. In this way, the parabolic antenna 1 can be easily and precisely adjusted towards the broadcasting satellite, and it can be easily and accurately adjusted from anywhere in the country as long as there is no direct obstruction in front of it. It can directly receive television signals from broadcast satellites. Therefore, even if the user travels by car to a place where normal television broadcast radio waves cannot reach, such as in a mountainous area, the television broadcast can be viewed. Furthermore, even in a community area, it is possible to see a good television image that is not affected by ghosts caused by buildings or the like.

視聴を終れば、再び調整部材13の一端をレール12に

When viewing is finished, one end of the adjustment member 13 is again slid along the rail 12, inserted into the other hole 32 and clamped, thereby allowing the parabolic antenna 1 to fall onto the roof 3 and travel.

Although the above embodiments have been described using a parabolic antenna, various other antennas such as a planar microwave antenna applying the theory of a crank-type microstrip antenna may also be used. In addition to television broadcasts, audio broadcasts based on PCM can also be received as broadcast signals from broadcast satellites.

A transmitting/receiving antenna is provided so as to be tiltable and rotatable, and
The antenna pole is configured so that it can be adjusted vertically by detecting its inclination, so even when the car is tilted and stopped, the pole can be easily erected vertically, and the elevation angle can be adjusted to a predetermined angle. This makes it extremely easy to rotate the antenna and point it in the direction of the broadcasting satellite. Therefore, wherever you go by car, you can easily receive high-quality television broadcasts from broadcasting satellites.
