Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve dielectric strength for winding through alleviation of electric field at the end part of magnetic shield and form a compact electrostatic induction apparatus by attaching an insulator cap to the end part of magnetic shield opposed to the winding. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic shield 6 made of a silicon steel plate is provided at the internal side of a tank 3 accommodating a winding 1 and an iron core 2. The winding 1 is guided to the outside through a lead wire 4 and a bushing 5 and a part of tank 3 is formed as the extruded part 3' for rising part of lead wire 4. The magnetic shield 6 is attached to both internal sides of tank 3 opposing to the winding 1 and the steel plate shield 8 is provided to the extruded part 3' of tank. In such a structure, the magnetic shield 6 in the side of extruded part 3' of tank is attached in such a way that it is a little protruded from the flat part of tank 3 and the end part is chamfered. An insulator cap 7 formed by the valve mold is attached to the end part 6' of such magnetic shield and is closely set thereto. Electric field of end part 6' of magnetic shield opposed to the winding 1 can be alleviated and the size of insulator between the winding 1 and magnetic shileld 6 can be set small.
