Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove the impurities such as salt attached loosely to the surface of a laver sheet, easily, after dehydration, by placing an adsorption member after the dehydration zone, contacting the surface of the running adsorption member to the surface of the laver sheet formed on a screen, and then passing the adsorption member through the hot-air stream exhausted from a drying chamber. CONSTITUTION:The adsorption belt 11 is circulated around the rollers 12 to adsorb and remove the impurities such as salt attached loosely to the surface of a laver sheet. In the above process, the adsorption belt 11 is placed after the dehydration zone 5, and is made to contact with the surface of the laver sheet on the screen dehydrated in the dehydration zone 5. A part of the adsorption belt 11 is passed through the hot-air zone A above the drying chamber 1 and is dried with hot air exhausted through the top opening 13 of the drying chamber 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a device for adsorbing and removing impurities from seaweed in a seaweed manufacturing machine, in which impurities floating on the surface of the seaweed are removed by an adsorption belt before the seaweed dehydrated in the dewatering section is dried in a drying room. It is designed to be removed by adsorption. In producing dried seaweed, a thin film of seaweed is deposited on a thatch in a paper-making section, then dehydrated in a dehydration section to lower its moisture content, and then sent to a drying room for drying. Seaweed contains many impurities such as salt, and these impurities float on the surface of the seaweed during the papermaking process and dehydration process, reducing the quality of the dried seaweed. Therefore, the present invention was made for the purpose of providing a device that can easily remove such impurities such as salt. In a seaweed manufacturing machine designed to dry indoors, a suction section consisting of a suction belt is disposed behind the dewatering section, and the suction heald is brought into contact with the surface of the seaweed to be deposited on the roof. It runs in the same direction as the conveyance direction of the seaweed and runs through the warm air area of the drying chamber, so that before the seaweed dehydrated in the dewatering section is dried in the drying chamber, Impurities such as salt floating on the surface are easily and reliably adsorbed and removed using an adsorption belt. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

Reference numeral 11 denotes a suction belt constituting the suction section 10, which runs in the same direction as the conveyance direction of the seaweed 9 while rotating along rollers 12. As will be described later, the adsorption belt 11 adsorbs and removes impurities such as salt floating on the surface of the seaweed 9, and is made of a material such as felt that has good adsorption properties for impurities such as salt. The suction belt 11 is disposed behind the dewatering section 5, and comes into contact with the surface of the seaweed 9 on the cage 8 that has been dehydrated in the dewatering section 5. In addition, a part of the suction bell) 11 is disposed in the warm air area A above the drying chamber 1, and when it is conveyed through the warm air area A, the drying chamber 1

The seaweed 9 that has been papered onto the screen 8 in the papermaking section 4 is press-dehydrated in the dewatering section 5 and transported to the drying chamber 1. Impurities a such as salt float on the surface of the seaweed 9 after dehydration, but before the seaweed is dried, the impurities a come into contact with the surface of the seaweed 9 and are transported in the same direction as the transport direction of the seaweed 9. It is removed by suction by the suction belt 11. The seaweed 9 from which the impurity a has been removed is subsequently dried in the drying chamber 1.

After the adsorption belt 11 is separated from the seaweed 9, the impurity a adsorbed on the surface of the adsorption heald 11 is washed and removed from the adsorption belt 11 by washing water jetted from the washing section 15, and falls into the water receiver 16. .

The water-absorbing belt 11 that has been cleaned by the cleaning section 15 then travels through the warm air area A, where it is dried by the warm air blown from the top of the drying chamber 1, travels back to its original position, and hits the surface of the seaweed 9 again. The impurity a is adsorbed by the contact, and the same operation as above is repeated thereafter. In this way, according to this apparatus, impurities such as salt that float on the surface of the seaweed 9 after the dehydration process can be easily removed by the adsorption belt 11, so that high-quality dried seaweed can be produced. In particular, if the adsorption belt 11 is dried in the warm air region A as described above, the impurity adsorption power of the belt 11 will be greatly recovered, and the impurity a on the surface of the seaweed 9 can be adsorbed and removed more reliably and repeatedly. . Note that the suction belt 11 does not need to be completely dried to the inside, and a sufficient impurity adsorption effect can be obtained by drying only the surface portion that contacts the surface of the seaweed 9. Furthermore, if the water absorbing belt 11 is brought into contact with the surface of the seaweed 9 a little forcefully, water remaining on the seaweed 9 can be dehydrated.

That is, although this type of press type dewatering section 5 has advantages such as a simple structure and is suitable for automation, it has the disadvantage that the nori 9 cannot be sufficiently dehydrated, but the suction belt 11 is brought into contact with the surface of the nori 9 somewhat strongly. Then, the water still remaining in the seaweed 9 can be adsorbed and dehydrated after the dehydration work in the dehydration section 5, and the moisture content of the seaweed 9 can be reduced, making subsequent drying easier and reducing the drying time considerably. Can be shortened. In particular, if the adsorption heel 11 is dried in a warm air region as described above, its water absorption ability will be greatly restored.
When it comes into contact with the surface of the seaweed 9, it can sufficiently adsorb the moisture in the seaweed 9 and dehydrate the seaweed 9 more effectively.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a part of the suction heald 11 constituting the suction section 10 is conveyed in the upper part of the drying chamber 1. Reference numeral 21 denotes a cleaning device consisting of a cleaning brush, which cleans and removes impurities a adsorbed on the surface of the adsorption bell 11. Further, a support belt 22 that supports the lower surface of the screen 8 is disposed below the contact portion of the water absorption belt 11 with the seaweed 9. Note that the support belt 22 and the receiving material 17
23 is a squeezing roller which squeezes out the water in the suction belt 11 and enhances the drying effect in the warm air area A. In this way, the water absorbing bell 1-11 may run in the warm air area A within the drying chamber 1 to perform drying. Further, by providing the cleaning device 21, the impurities a adsorbed on the adsorption heald 11 can be more reliably washed and removed.

The present invention can be modified in various ways other than the above-mentioned embodiments. For example, the material of the adsorption belt 11 may be other than felt, as long as it is a sponge or other material that has a high adsorption property for impurities a. Further, it is more desirable if it has a dehydrating effect on seaweed 9. Further, the placement position of the suction belt 11 is also free, and may be placed anywhere within the drying chamber 1 as long as it is in the warm air area, regardless of whether it is inside or outside the drying chamber 1. Furthermore, the present invention can also be applied to other types of seaweed manufacturing machines, such as a type of seaweed manufacturing machine in which the cage 4 is held in a holder and the holder is conveyed along a predetermined route.
