[Operation] According to the above-mentioned technical means of the present invention, dried kelp is fed into the casing from the kelp carry-in inlet of the box-shaped casing heated by the heating mechanism. The kelp carried into the casing is sandwiched between a pair of upper and lower net conveyors and conveyed by the conveyor to the terminal side, that is, the kelp carry-out exit side. At this time,
Humidity rising from inside the humidifying water tank steams the kelp that is conveyed through the net conveyor to give an appropriate amount of moisture. Also, the dried kelp that is transported from the kelp carry-in port to the carry-out port in the casing by the net conveyor receives the moisture sprayed from the humidification water tank and the moisture sprayed from the humidification nozzle.
As a result, kelp is steamed more efficiently and in a short time to give moisture.

When using the kelp humidifier of this embodiment constructed as described above, first, the heating mechanism 6 is operated to heat the inside of the casing 1 by the hot air radiated from the heating mechanism 6. Humidity rising from the water tank 5 humidifies the inside of the casing 1. Then, when the inside of the casing 1 is filled with humidified hot air and a proper humidity and temperature can be obtained, the dried kelp A is fed from the kelp carry-in port 3 into the casing 1 and pressed between the net conveyors 2. It is carried in and conveyed by the conveyor 2 toward the kelp carry-out port 4 of the casing 1. The kelp A conveyed while being pressed down on the net conveyor 2 is given water in the process of being steamed by the humidified hot air filling the casing 1, wrinkles are stretched in 1 to 2 minutes, and folding is possible. While becoming softer, it is carried out from the kombu carry-out port 4. The kelp A that has been carried out performs wrinkling and folding work while it is warm and soft. The kelp A, which has been subjected to wrinkling and folding, is in a slightly soft state while the warmth remains, but returns to the original dry state at a normal temperature and ready to be shipped.

There are various types of dry kelp before being subjected to wrinkling work, such as one having a large amount of water, one having a small amount of water, and one having an excessive amount of dryness, depending on the storage condition of each fisherman. Therefore, in order to steam the kelp having different degrees of dryness in a state in which wrinkles can be spread without damaging the kelp, it is necessary to adjust not only the steaming time of the kelp but also the humidity of the humidified hot air in the casing 1. In particular, in order to soften the excessively dried kelp to an appropriate state, it is necessary to increase the humidity in the casing 1. In such a case, water is sprayed from the humidification nozzle 7 while being conveyed in the casing 1 by the net conveyor 2, and the heating and humidifying state in the casing 1 is adjusted according to the dryness degree of the kelp.

By injecting the moisture from the humidifying nozzle 7, the amount of moisture in the humidified hot air filling the casing 1, that is, the humidity can be made higher than usual. Further, the amount of water supplied can be set by adjusting the injection time of the humidifying nozzle 7, and the degree of humidity can be arbitrarily adjusted. Therefore, by adjusting and changing the spraying time from the humidifying nozzle 7 according to the degree of dryness of the target kelp, the kelp A having different degrees of dryness can be wrinkled and steamed into a state suitable for folding.

Since the kelp humidifier of the present invention is constructed as described above, it has the following operational effects. . The dried kelp is sent into the box-shaped casing through the kelp carry-in inlet. The kelp carried into the casing is carried between the pair of upper and lower net conveyors by the conveyor to the terminal side, that is, the kelp carry-out exit side. At this time, the moisture rising from the water in the water tank can steam the kelp transported through the lower net conveyor to give an appropriate amount of moisture. . In addition to the moisture rising from the water tank, the kelp transported from the kelp carry-in port to the carry-out port in the casing by the net conveyor is added with the moisture sprayed from the humidification nozzle, which causes the kelp to steam more efficiently and damp. Can be given.
