5は四隅部を含んで変円形状に形成、したので、ゴムガ
スケット7は四隅部にて折れることがなく、また四隅部
間の各透面においても彎曲面に沿って緊張して添着する
ために遊−することが生じないものとなる。次いでゴム
ガスフット嵌着のカルバートは既敷入れのカルバートl
の凹環部9に向けて、)−次前進移動して嵌合わせ接続
されるが、か\る過程でゴムガスケット7の外表は凹環
部9の外壁11に押当た)圧縮して嵌合わせ接続部間に
介在することになる。

るため、カルバートの嵌合わせ接続に当ってゴムガスケ
ットの捻じれや位置ずれ等を解消して確実に圧縮介在さ
せて水洩れ等を解消する効果がある〇
