A wire insertion hole with one end open as a wire insertion port on one side of the terminal block body and a jig insertion hole with one end open as a jig insertion port on one side of the terminal block body are arranged side by side in the terminal block body. The back end of the wire insertion hole houses a terminal board and a locking spring that presses the core wire of the inserted connection wire against the terminal board, and the back end of the wire insertion hole and the back end of the jig insertion hole are housed. A release button that presses a locking spring into a hole that communicates with the connecting wire to release the pressure contact of the core wire of the connecting wire is movably housed, and the head of the release button and the back end of the jig insertion hole protrude from the back end of the jig insertion hole. A tension stopper that presses the inserted connection wire against the inner surface of the wire insertion hole is disposed in the insertion hole such that it can freely protrude into the wire insertion hole, and a means for adjusting the protrusion amount of the tension stopper is opened on one side of the terminal block body.
