The workpiece is lowered into a processing tank filled with a processing liquid, so that only the required width of the lower end of the workpiece, that is, the immersion width, is submerged in the processing liquid.

An important work condition is to avoid unnecessary disturbances to the surface.

It is unavoidable that the liquid surface will ripple due to the drop, or that splashes will be generated on the liquid surface due to the violent drop of the tip.For this reason, with conventional descending devices, it is difficult to maintain the immersion level precisely. was there.

The object of the present invention is to provide a descending device mainly used in immersion processing which prevents this from occurring.

The immersion width of the lower end of the workpiece W becomes a predetermined immersion dimension, and the jig 12 is stopped at this position, but the piston operating arm 16 continues to move linearly downward by an appropriate amount, and as a result, as shown in FIG. 4d. Then, the frame 3 carries the load of the holder 9, and the foot plate 11a separates from the jig top plate 13.

The structure is such that the jig is lowered by the slow operation of the holder by the piston from just before reaching the predetermined lowering position until the jig is securely positioned by the collision of the contact members. It has the effect of efficiently lowering the object to just before the lowering position, and then lowering it extremely quietly. It is particularly useful for lowering the workpiece into the processing tank during immersion processing, to prevent bubbling on the liquid surface. Ripples or splashes are prevented, and the immersion surface is not disturbed, and it can also be used to automate processing operations.
