Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit humidification by a method wherein a water absorbing device is arranged between a dust removing filter and a heat exchanger and water supplied to the water absorbing device is evaporated. CONSTITUTION:The air filter 8 is formed by a net made of a synthetic resin and the water absorbing device 10 is constituted by the net of metal, whose surface is applied with filling, medical treatment or the like. In case of humidifying in winter under effecting room heating, water is sent into a water reservoir 9 arranged above the heat exchanger. When water is reserved in the groove 9a of the water reservoir 9, the water is sucked up into the water absorbing device 10 abutting against the groove 9a and is supplied to a reticulated part in front of the device 10, then, the water is evaporated into suction air passing through the reticulated part thereby effecting the humidification.

As explained above, air conditioners do not have a humidifying function, so when heating with an air conditioner that is also used for heating and cooling, the temperature rises without humidification, and the relative humidity decreases, making you feel dry and uncomfortable. . In addition, in the case of an air conditioner dedicated to cooling, use other heating equipment, such as a stove or heater, to heat the air conditioner, and then use the blower 2.
There is also a method of use in which the air inside the room is circulated by only operating the room, but this also has the same drawbacks as above, such as the relative humidity being dry at the bottom and making it feel uncomfortable.

Reference numeral 9 denotes a water reservoir for temporarily storing water, which is disposed above the heat exchanger 3, and a deeper groove 9a is formed on the front side of the heat exchanger 3. 1° is a water absorption device, and the surface of the metal mesh is treated with flocking or chemical treatment to absorb water. A similar effect can also be obtained by attaching a nonwoven fabric with good water absorption to the surface of the metal mesh. The shape is such that one end is in contact with the groove 9a of the water reservoir 9, and the other end 10b is in contact with the surface of the heat exchanger 3. A gap is provided between this water absorption device IO and the air filter.

11 is a water tank equipped with an air pump lla at the top,
When the air pump 11a operates, the pressure inside the water tank 11 increases, and the water in the water tank 11 is sent into the pipe llb that communicates the water tank 11 and the water reservoir 9. The interior of the hoar pump 11a is designed to prevent water from passing through.

In this state, when the air pump 11a is operated, water in the water tank 11 passes through the pipe llb and is sent into the water reservoir 9. When water collects in the groove 9a of the water reservoir 9, the water is sucked up by the water absorption device 10 that is in contact with the groove 9a, and the water is replenished into the net-like part on the front side, where it evaporates into the suction air passing through this part, humidifying it. It is something to do.

Since the water reservoir 9 is arranged at the upper part of the heat exchanger 3, the temperature of the water increases while the water is stored in the water reservoir 9, making it easy to evaporate. Moreover, the water absorption device 10 is made of metal, and this tip 10b
Another good point is that since the part is in contact with the heat exchanger 3, the temperature rises and the water evaporates easily.

A humidity sensor is installed on the suction air side, and the air pump 11.8 is controlled in accordance with instructions from the humidity sensor. In addition, there are other methods such as interlocking with the operation of an air conditioner or operating the air pump lla at regular intervals, but the method of interlocking with a humidity sensor is the best because it allows direct control of the humidity. If the amount of water supplied is greater than the amount of water evaporated from the water absorption device, it is guided from the tip of the water absorption device 10b to the heat exchanger 3 and evaporated there. If the water is still not completely evaporated, it is led to the dew pan 4 and drained. Since a gap is provided between the dust removing filter 8 and the dust removing filter 8, water does not flow out along the dust removing filter 8.

Since the dust removal filter 8 is charged, it collects even minute dust, so it is also advantageous that the water absorption device 10 is prevented from being blown away by dust.

If the humidity sensor detects low humidity other than during heating operation, by operating the air pump lla and the blower 2, the water absorption device 10 can be replenished with water, and this water is absorbed and evaporated into the air, thereby being used as a humidifying device. It's good to be able to do it.

According to the present invention, by arranging the water absorption device between the dust removal filter and the heat exchanger of the air conditioner, the humidification function can be easily performed, so that it is effective as humidification during air conditioning and heating. Furthermore, when the water absorption device contains water, when the intake air passes through the water-containing net, the water can collect very fine particles that could not be collected by the dust removal filter. effective.
