Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of operating characteristic for assembling and prevention of damage of condensed water discharging section and permit to guide the condensed water into a condenser cover by a method wherein a condensed water receiving pan and a condensed water discharging gutter are formed separately by synthetic resin and a dew receiver is constituted by meshing them with each others. CONSTITUTION:The meshing section 4b of the main body 4 of condensed water receiving pan and the same section 5a of the condensed water discharging gutter 5 are meshed with each others to secure the gutter 5 to the main body 4 and the tip end of the gutter 5 is pushed by the cut-up 7a of the condenser cover 5 to prevent the gutter 5 from being lifted up from the level of a base 1, therefore, the condensed water will never leak to other places and is discharged perfectly. Upon assembling, the dew receiver does not contact with the penetrating section 2a of a partitioning plate and, therefore, the damage of the condensed water discharging section may be prevented.

FIG. 1 is an overview of an air conditioner showing an example of a conventional dew pan structure, with the outer box, decorative cover, and heat exchanger removed. 1 is a base, 2 is a partition plate, and 3 is a dew pan. As shown in FIG. 1, the conventional dew pan has a structure in which a dew pan 3a and a condensed water discharge section 3b are integrated, and a hose 6 is attached to the condensed water discharge section 3b. Exposure receiving part 3
The condensed water received at point a is transferred to the condensed water discharge part 3b and the hose 6.
was discharged into the outdoor room. In such a conventional dew pan 3, when assembled, the length of the condensed water discharge part 3b is limited by the height of the flange of the base 1 and the distance between the partition plate 2, and the length of the condensed water discharge part 3b is limited. There was a drawback that the condensed water discharge part 3b was sometimes easily damaged. Also, when molding the dew pan 3, there were drawbacks such as the mold was thick (and the molding was difficult).Furthermore, the base 1
In order to prevent dew from forming on the bottom of the condensed water and dripping, it is necessary to use a hose 6 etc. that guides the condenser to the condenser cover 7. There were drawbacks such as poor reliability in workability.

The present invention improves the above-mentioned drawbacks, improves assembly workability, prevents damage to the condensed water discharge part 3b of the condensation pan, makes condensed water discharge more efficient, and provides an exposed surface on the bottom of the base. However, it also provides a condensate drainage system.

In the conventional dew pan structure, since the condensed water discharge part 3b is integrated with the dew catch part 3a, the length of the condensed water discharge part 3b is limited and it is easily damaged. The present invention improves the above-mentioned drawbacks, and the condensed water discharge section 3
By dividing a from the condensation receiving part 3b, it is possible to improve assembly workability and prevent damage to the condensed water discharge part 3b. It is also possible to provide guidance.

The dew pan has a structure formed by a combination of a dew pan main body 4 and a condensed water discharge gutter 5. In addition, a condensed water drain port 4a is provided in the dew pan main body 4 so that the condensed water drips into the condensed water drain port 5, and a protrusion 4 is provided around the lower part of the condensed water drain port 4a.
c to ensure that the condensed water falls into the condensed water drain 5. Further, the dew pan main body 4 is provided with an engaging portion 4b that engages with the condensed water discharge gutter 5, and engages with an engaged portion 5a provided on the condensed water discharge gutter 5.

By providing the engaging portions 4b and 5a as described above,
A condensed water discharge gutter 5 is fixed to the dew pan main body 4, and further,
The tip of the condensed water discharge channel is held down by a raised cut 7a provided on the condenser cover 7 to prevent it from rising above the base surface, so that the condensed water is completely discharged without leaking to others. Also, when assembling, the partition plate penetration part 2
Since there is no contact with a, there is no damage, and the condensed water drain pipe 5 is long enough to reach the outdoor chamber.
