Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は小型汎用エンジン等における燃料タンクとキャ
ブレタ、燃料ポンプ等を接続する略U字形の燃料パイプ
のドレン装置に関する。

従来は沈澱槽を有する燃料フィルターが広く採用されて
いるが、フィルター内の空気が燃料タンクまたはキャブ
レタの方へ抜けず、ペーパーロックの発生する恐れがあ
り、この対策として第1図のように、燃料タンク1の接
手2とキャブレタ3または燃料ポンプの接手4を略U字
形に配管した燃料パイプ5で接続腰従来の燃料フィルタ
ーを廃止する方式が採用され始めている。

本考案は上記従来の問題を解決すると共に、燃料パイプ
をU字形に配置した場合に最も折れ曲がり易い最弱底部
を補強できるようにするため、燃料タンクの下向き接手
と燃料系装置の下向き接手に略U字形に配管した透明な
燃料パイプの上端部をつなぎ、燃料パイプの最も低い部
分に燃料パイプ折曲防止用の上開き円弧状接続管を介装
腰接続管の中央下部に大気に対し開閉自在の燃料コック
を設けたことを特徴としており、第3図以下に実施例を
示す。

介装し、接続管10′の中央下部に大気に対し開閉自在
の燃料コック12を設けたので次のような特殊な効果が
得られるのである。
