DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a so-called "dry touch" product that has excellent water absorption but has almost no surface wettability, and can be used as a surface material for sanitary napkins and disposable diapers, as well as hand towels and makeup removers. The present invention relates to a laminated nonwoven fabric that can be suitably used as a cloth for use.

In conventional sanitary napkins and disposable diapers, in order to eliminate the sticky feeling caused by wetness during use, the surface material is made of nonwoven fabric made of hydrophobic fibers.
Satisfactory "dry touch" performance cannot be obtained unless the nonwoven fabric is considerably thick (for example, has a basis weight of 30 g/m' or more). However, when such a thick nonwoven fabric is used, flexibility is inevitably lost, resulting in a poor usability as sanitary napkins, paper diapers, and the like.

Therefore, in order to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks, a structure in which a cotton layer made of stable rayon is further interposed between the nonwoven fabric layer and the absorbent layer has been developed. In this way, even if the nonwoven fabric layer is thin with a basis weight of about 15 to 20 g/rn', the "dry touch" property and flexibility can be improved to a satisfactory degree, but the addition of the cotton layer will require additional man-hours. In addition to the problem of increased cost and the resulting increase in costs, new processing problems have been brought about. For example, in the case of sanitary napkins, the longitudinal ends of the laminate consisting of the nonwoven fabric layer, cotton layer, and absorbent layer are usually heat-sealed. Because there is a cotton layer made of non-thermally adhesive rayon stable, some parts remain that are not completely heat-sealed, resulting in defective products. The present invention provides a solution to the above-mentioned problems, and provides a soft feel, excellent water absorption, and "dry touch".
A laminated nonwoven fabric with excellent workability and
In particular, the present invention provides a laminated nonwoven fabric suitable as a material for liquid absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins and disposable diapers.

The gist of the present invention resides in a structure in which a cotton layer made of stable rayon is integrally laminated between two dry-laid nonwoven fabric layers containing a specific amount of heat-adhesive conjugate fibers.

In the above basic configuration, the heat-adhesive conjugate fibers constituting the dry nonwoven fabric layer are usually 30-1°0% (by weight, the same applies hereinafter), preferably 50-70% of the heat-adhesive conjugate fibers. It is composed of 70 to θ%, preferably 50 to 30% of rayon and/or polyester fibers, polypropylene fibers, or polyamide fibers, each singly or in a mixture.

The above composite single-layer fiber is used as a constituent material of a dry-laid nonwoven fabric together with a residual amount of rayon and/or polyester fiber, polypropylene fiber, or polyamide fiber, each alone or in a mixture (or blend). If it is less than 30%, there will be fewer bonding points during thermal bonding, resulting in a decrease in mechanical strength. The thickness of this composite fiber is preferably in the range of 1°5 to 2.0 denier (d) in terms of providing a soft feel; 3. Exceeding Od gives a rigid feel, which is not desirable. Furthermore, short fibers having a length of usually 30 to 70 mm are preferable.

On the other hand, rayon and/or polyester fibers, polypropylene fibers, or polyamide fibers require almost the same conditions as those for the above-mentioned composite fibers, and the fiber thickness ranges from 1.5 to 2. Od, fiber length is preferably in the range of 30 to 50 am.

The basis weight of the dry nonwoven fabric layer constituting the present invention varies depending on the use, but is suitably approximately 5 to 15 g/m''.The basis weight of the cotton layer made of rayon stable also varies depending on the use. However, those with a weight of 5 to 15 g/m' are excellent in terms of flexibility and feel. The basis weight of the entire laminated nonwoven fabric is preferably 20 to 40 g/nf.
