Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the appearance and performance of a cover by slanting the transversal lattice of suction grille upwardly. CONSTITUTION:The transversal lattice 13 of a suction grille 14 is slanted upwardly. According to this method, the front surface of the air conditioner is covered by the slanted surfaces 13a of the transversal lattice 13 and a heat exchanger 3, equipped at the rear side of the grille, can not be seen in case the air conditioner is looked up from somewhat lower direction thereof after it is installed on the wall surface or the like, therefore, the appearance of the cover becomes clean and neat.
