Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain always a filter for a range hood unnecessary for cleanup by subjecting the collected oil to chemical decomposition automatically and maintaining always it in a cleansed state. CONSTITUTION:The air contg. lamp soot generated by means of cooking is passed between plural L-shaped rectangular bodies A1, B2 but the oil collide with the rectangular bodies A1, B2 and is stuck thereon. The catalyst previously stuck on the surface of the above-mentioned rectangular bodies A1, B2 is acted by conducting a current through a heater 3 and over-heating and the oil is decomposed to steam and carbon dioxide to cleanse the surfaces of the rectangular bodies A1, B2. As a result, the drop of oil can be prevented and the filter is always untaken off and its washing is unnecessary by collecting the oil of lamp soot generated by means of cooking, subjecting it to chemical decomposition and always cleansing the filter.

First, the oil smoke generated during cooking enters the hood 101.
Most of it is collected by the range hood filter 103,
The remainder passes through the blower 102 and is discharged outdoors. However, with the above configuration, the amount of collected oil gradually increases until it reaches a saturated state, and the oil falls out, so it has the disadvantage that it must be constantly removed and washed.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve this object, the range hood filter of the present invention consists of a plurality of L-shaped rectangular bodies arranged in a straight line at regular intervals and having a low temperature catalyst for decomposing oil adhered to the surface; L's similar to the above, facing each other and arranged in a staggered position so that the ridges of the L-shape face outward, with a space for air to pass through.
It consists of a rectangular shape and a heater installed inside each of the L-shaped peaks. With this configuration, the oil smoke generated during cooking passes through the gaps between the multiple L-shaped rectangular bodies, and the oil smoke is shaped like an L-shape. It collides with the rectangular body and sticks to it. By heating the heater installed inside the mountain, the catalyst attached to the surface of the L-shaped rectangular body acts, chemically decomposing the oil, removing the oil, and purifying the filter. Become.

In Figures 3 and 4, 1 is a plurality of L's arranged in a straight line at regular intervals and having a low-temperature catalyst for decomposing oil attached to the surface.
The letter-shaped rectangular bodies A and 2 are L-shaped rectangular bodies similar to the above, which are arranged in a staggered position, facing each other so that the ridges of the above-mentioned cross-shaped letters face outward, and provide a space for air to pass through. B, 3 is that L
The heaters are installed inside each mountain in the shape of a letter. First, the air containing oil smoke generated by cooking passes between the plurality of L-shaped rectangular bodies AI and B2, but the oil does not pass through the rectangular bodies. AI collides with B2 and sticks to it. By passing an electric current through the heater 3 and heating it, the catalyst previously attached to the surfaces of the rectangular bodies AI and B2 acts, decomposing the oil into water vapor and carbon dioxide, and the surfaces of the rectangular bodies AI and B2 are heated.
