Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten an inspection time by providing a light emission part to one side of a bottle which moves linearly and a photodetection part to the other side, and moving the photodetection part according to the movement of the bottle so that the photodetection part faces the center of the bottle all the time. CONSTITUTION:The bottle 1 to be inspected moves linearly and receives light from the light emission part 10. The light is transmitted through the rotating bottle 1 and photodetected by a reflecting mirror 22, which is driven by a driving means to rotate following up the moving bottle 1 on a belt conveyor so that an image of the center part of the bottle 1 is projected on a photoelectric converting element all the time. The light reflected by the reflecting mirror 22 enters a photoelectric converter 23 and is converted into the quantity of electricity such as a voltage, which is displayed by a decision circuit; if there is sticking matter on the bottle 1, the voltage value of the part decreases greatly. Consequently, an inspector easily decides on a defective bottle.

ないかを内容物の充填する前に容器を検査することが試
みられていた。

かかる方法では容器を一旦止め次いで回転させるため検
査時間が長くかかり且つ作業が面倒である欠点があった

り、この検査装置は検査すべき容器例えばびん1を直線
移動しつつ回転させる搬送手段2を備えている。この搬
送手段は図示の実施例では通常の直線移動のベルトコン
ベヤ3とこのコンベヤ上に設けられた複数の回転ロー2
4とから成る。これら回転ローラはびん1を囲みびんを
回転するように構成されている。

済み構造が簡単となる。
