Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent pyracy of copying by changing an information storage format to a part of a floppy disc storage area into other part and storing important information to the storage area. CONSTITUTION:In processing system generation of a floppy disc storage medium of 1,000 sectors, programs not so much important and data are written in the 1st sector to the 999th sector. Further, improtant information such as data used for the check in the program is written in the 1,000th sector. In using a device to read the information written in the format of 256-byte per one sector in this system and in copying it to other floppy disc storage medium, the information is read up to 1-999 without any problem. Since the information of the 1,000th sector is formatted in 128-byte, it is not read, an error message is displayed and the copying is intermitted.
