回転電機特に車両用スタータのブラシホルダは、部品点
数の低減、錆に対する信頼性向上、軽量化等を目的とし
て、樹脂にて一体成形したものが使用されるようになり
つつあるが、この樹脂製ブラシホルダにおいては、特に
車両用スタータの主流である円筒型コンミテータに応じ
たブラシ格納部は、回転径方向にのみ開放しているので
、このブラシ格納部を一体成形する場合の型の構造は多
方向へスライドする型となりやすい。これを防ぐ目的で
、型として一番簡単な二方向割型を採用するとブラシ格
納部のパリの出にくい構造をとることが容易である一方
、ブラシを格納する場合ブラシが型割り方向へ飛出さな
いようにすることが困難な問題となる。

るため、エンドフレームをも樹脂で形成することにより
、ヨークの端面とエンドフレームの内面との間でブラシ
ホルダ及びブラシを挟みこんで固定するようにしたもの
である。

にて支持し、ブラシの軸方向の他の側面を樹脂よりなる
エンドフレームの内面にて支持するようにしているから
、樹脂製ブラシホルダの成形を簡単な2方向割り型で行
うことが可能であると共に、従来一般的なブラシホルダ
をエンドフレームの外部からビス等で固定する構造をと
る必要もなく′なるため部品の低、減も可能であるし、
穴がないため防水性も向上するという効果が大である。
