る。

回転電機特に車両用のスタータのブラシホルダ
は、部品点数の低減、錆に対する信頼性向上、軽
量化等を目的として、樹脂にて一体成形したもの

ブラシホルダにおいては、特に車両用スタータの
主流である円筒型コンミテータに応じたブラシ格
納部は、回転径方向にのみ開放しているので、こ
のブラシ格納部を一体成形する場合の型の構造は
多方向へスライドする型となりやすい。これを防
ぐ目的で、型として一番簡単な二方向割型を採用
するとブラシ格納部のバリの出にくい構造をとる
ことが容易である一方、ブラシを格納する場合ブ
ラシが型割り方向へ飛出さないようにすることが
困難な問題となる。

を二方向割型にて樹脂成形するものにおいて、ブ
ラシがブラシホルダのブラシ格納部から型割り方
向へ飛出るのを防止するため、エンドフレームを
も樹脂で形成することにより、ヨークの端面とエ
ンドフレームの内面との間でブラシホルダ及びブ
ラシを挟みこんで固定するようにしたものであ
る。

スタータのモータ部のヨークで段付部1aを備え
ている。2は樹脂、例えばフエノール系の熱硬化
性樹脂により成形されたエンドフレームでその端
面2bはヨーク1の段付部1aに嵌合している。
3はアーマチヤで、円筒型コンミテータ3aを備
えている。4は樹脂により二方向割型にて一体成
形されたブラシホルダで、第3図に示すようにブ
ラシ格納部4a、ブレード部4b、位置決め及び
ブラシリード線の引出し用切欠部4c、ブラシス
プリング固定用突起4dを備えており、ブラシ格
納部4aは、ブラシの摺動方向両側面を支持する
構造とし、プレート部4bを合わせてブラシの3
面を支持し、組付時エンドフレームに対向する面
を開放している。5はブラシ、6はボルトで、図
示してないハウジングとエンドフレーム2との間
にヨーク1を挟み、締付けて固定し、アーマチヤ
3を回転自在に支持すると同時に全てのブラシの
エンドフレーム側をこのエンドフレーム2の内面
2aで同時に当接させ、ヨーク1とエンドフレー
ム2との間にブラシホルダ4とブラシ5を挟持し
ている。7はブラシスプリングで一端はブラシホ
ルダの突起部4dに挿入され、他端はブラシ5を
コンミテータ3aの表面に押圧している。

向割り型で行うことが可能であると共に、従来一
般的なブラシホルダをエンドフレームの外部から
ビス等で固定する構造をとる必要もなくなるため
部品の低減も可能であるし、穴がないため防水性
も向上するという効果が大である。
