Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the talking through telephones by transmitting a call signal with a radio telephone device which the states of slave devices can be monitored by a master device only in case the slave devices are set in the waiting state when the master device receives the call signal. CONSTITUTION:The carrier signal transmitted through an antenna 23 of a master device 1 is supplied to a reception circuit 25 through an antenna 24 of the 1st salve device. The carrier signal received by the circuit 25 is partially detected by a carrier wave detecting circuit 23 to actuate temporarily a transmission circuit 29 in case the 1st slave device is set under a waiting state. Then the carrier signal is transmitted through an antenna 34 and received by a reception circuit 22. Then the carrier signal is applied to a control circuit 3 via the 1st detection circuit 7 to discriminate that the 1st slave device is kept in the waiting state. Then a call signal control part is controlled and a call signal oscillator 10 is oscillator to supply a call signal to the circuit 29. Then said carrier signal is modulated and transmitted through the antenna 23.

When a plurality of handsets are provided in such a radio telephone, the transmitting frequency and receiving frequency are made to be different between each handset so that signals can be exchanged with the selected handset. When a base unit receives a call signal from a telephone line in a stick device, it needs to check which handset is on standby and send the call signal to that handset. If the calling signal is sent to a handset whose power is turned off, and the calling signal is not noticed and continues to be sent, the call will never be able to be made.

Next, the operation of the wireless telephone according to the present invention will be explained. When a calling signal is received by the base unit (1) via the telephone line (2), it is detected by the calling signal detection circuit 0υ and supplied to the control circuit (3). Then the control circuit (3
) operates and generates a code signal from DATAaη. Code signal signals 1, Dl, and D4 are determined by the transmitting frequency and receiving frequency of the transmitting circuit (5) and receiving circuit (6) as shown in FIG. The tail signal is set to match the receiving and transmitting frequencies of the machine.

By the way, the handset is not scheduled to be used at all (unused state where all power supplies are turned off, and standby state where only the receiving circuit (c) is in operation and the transmitting circuit (to) is inactive). There is a call state in which both the receiving circuit (c) and the transmitting circuit are operated. When the first handset is in the standby state, when the receiving circuit (c) receives a carrier wave signal, a portion of the carrier wave signal is is detected by the carrier detection circuit (c), the transmission circuit is temporarily activated, and the carrier signal is transmitted from the antenna. The carrier signal is received by the receiving circuit (2) of the base unit, and the transmitting circuit is temporarily activated. The control circuit (3) passes through the detection circuit (7).
), and identifies that the first slave device is in a standby state. Then, the paging signal controller α field is controlled to cause the paging signal oscillator a to oscillate and supply it to the transmitting circuit fiK to modulate the carrier signal and transmit it from the antenna (c). The carrier wave signal modulated by the calling signal is transmitted to the receiving circuit of the first handset (
c), and the paging signal is demodulated. The calling signal is amplified by the amplifier circuit (E) and then drives the speaker (G), so that the owner of the first handset can know that there is an incoming call. Then, when the owner operates the keyboard (1) to put the transmitting circuit (3) into an operating state, etc., and puts it into a talking state, an activation signal is generated.

The activation signal is applied to the transmitting circuit (2), modulates the carrier signal, and is transmitted from the antenna diagram. The receiving circuit (5) of the base unit (1) demodulates the calling signal, passes through the control circuit (3) and adds it to the relay α, which energizes the 0th relay and closes the telephone line (2) to enter the talking state. The carrier wave signal enters the receiving circuit (c) from the antenna Ca of the first handset, where it is demodulated into an audio signal and sent to the amplifier circuit (c).
After being amplified by 20, the speaker C3S sounds. -When the owner of the male device speaks into the microphone □□□,
The voice is converted into an audio signal by a microphone (C), amplified by an amplifier circuit (C), and then input to a transmission circuit, where it is modulated into a carrier wave signal and transmitted. In the base unit (1), the receiving circuit (c) demodulates and detects the voice signal in the same manner as described above, and the voice signal is supplied to the telephone line via the hybrid transformer α2 and the relay α3 and transmitted to the other party, allowing a telephone conversation to be performed.

In the above, we checked whether the status of the slave unit is in the standby state using the carrier wave signal, but the response may be from a slave unit controlled by a base unit other than this base unit, and there is a risk of misidentification. Figure 3 shows how the identification signal determined for each machine is sent from inside for confirmation.
In order to communicate with the first slave unit, a code signal set to 010.0,1 is generated, and the first slave unit is identified from the identification signal oscillator (9) using the signal from the identification signal control unit (a). A specified identification signal is generated. The transmission circuit (6) matches the frequency of the carrier signal with the receiving frequency of the first handset by the code signal, modulates it with the identification signal, and transmits it from the antenna (c).

The receiving circuit (c) of the first handset demodulates the identification signal from the received carrier signal and applies it to the control circuit 13 via the identification signal detection circuit. Then, the control circuit 02 operates and puts the transmitting circuit (to) into an operating state, generates a confirmation signal from the code signal oscillator G7), modulates the carrier wave signal in addition to the transmitting circuit, and transmits the signal. In the above, it is also possible to call the other party from the handset and have a telephone conversation. To do so, operate the keyboard (to) to enter a talking state, and oscillate the code signal oscillator 07) to generate a dial signal. The dial signal modulates a carrier wave signal in the transmitting circuit 01 and is transmitted to the base unit. (F) Effects of the Invention As described above, the wireless telephone of the present invention transmits a carrier wave signal to the handset when a calling signal is received by the base, and only when it is confirmed that the handset is in standby mode. Since it is now possible to talk between the handset and the base unit, it is no longer possible to leave the handset unattended without knowing that it is in an inactive state.
