    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シリンダブロックの冷却媒体流通用ジャケットを、上部
    ジャケットと下部ジャケットとに分離し、前記上部ジャ
    ケットとシリンダヘッドのジャケットとを連通して第１
    の冷却媒体が流通する第、　１の冷却系路を形成する一
    方、前記下部ジャケットには前記第１の冷却媒体より比
    熱の小さい第２の冷却媒体を流通せしめて第２の冷却系
    路を形成したことを特徴とする往復動式内燃機関の冷却
    装置。
