  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 印字方向に異なった大きさの円形、もしくは任意の多角
    形の印字素子を配列してなる印字ヘッドと、 前記印字ヘッド位置を検出して印字ヘッド位置信号を生
    成する印字ヘッド位置検出回路と、ドツトに分解された
    文字データをドツト径情報として記憶した文字記憶装置
    と、 前記印字ヘッド位置検出回路から送られてくる印字ヘッ
    ド位置信号と前記文字記憶装置から送られてくる印字ド
    ツト径信号とから所定素子の駆動タイミング信号を生成
    する素子駆動タイミング信号生成回路と、 前記素子駆動タイミング信号生成回路から送られてくる
    素子駆動タイミング信号と前記印字ドツト径信号とから
    、前記印字ベッドの所定素子を駆動する駆動信号を生成
    する素子駆動回路とを有した印字装置。
