成を示す正面断面図、第２図は第１図の部分的構成を示
す斜視図、第３図ａ、　ｂは第１図のリニアスケールの
部分的構成の具体例で同図ａ轄正面断面図、同図すは部
分的側面断面図、第４図は従来のリニアスケールの外観
を示す斜視図、第５図ａ、　ｂはそれぞれ本考案を光学
式リニアスケールに適用した場合について説明するため
の図である。 １０・・・枠体、１１・・・キャリッジ部、２０・・・
磁気ロントスケール、２１・・・検出ヘッド、２２・・
・出力用ケーブル、２７・・・外部出力用コネクタ、３
０・・・案内レール。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 所定の目盛パターンが記録されたスケールと、このスケ
    ールの両端を支持固定する枠体と、上記スケールに対し
    て相対的に移動し上記目盛パターンを検出する検出器と
    、上記スケールと平行な案内を備えその案内を摺動して
    上記検出器を移動させるキャリッジ手段と、このキャリ
    ッジ手段により移動される上記検出器の移動範囲を以て
    上記枠体内に収納され上記検出器の検出信号を伝道する
    可撓性ケーブルと、上記枠体内で上記検出器の移動方向
    の一端部に配置され上記可撓性ケーブルが接続される外
    部出力用コネクタとを具備してなることを特徴とするリ
    ニアスケール。
