ぶせたような形になり、バーナー装置Cから発生した熱
気は対流現象で上昇し、低温のガスが入口f、出口gの
上線f′、g′から押し出される。炉内に充満ガスはよ
り高温のものであり、より低温のガスから排出されると
いうメカニズムをとる。従って熱効率がよく炉内温度も
平均する。しかし出入口f、gが傾斜しているので、炉
体aの全高が高くなり、スペース上設置が不可能であっ
たり、吊物搬送上斜面を嫌うものがあり、このような山
