Abstract

PURPOSE:To have pressure inside a cylinder balanced as well as to prevent fuel from leaking, by installing a seal part using an elastic body in two spots, top and bottom, of a push rod in an accelerator pump, while making supercharging pressure act on the intermediate part. CONSTITUTION:An accelerator pump 1 is attached to the side of a charging cylinder 11 of a carburetor, while a piston 2 is housed inside its cylinder 3. Now, when stepping on an accelerator pedal, a shaft 5 and a lever 6 are rotated and this rotation is transmitted to a rod 7 and a lever 8 and thereby the piston 2 is pressed downward so that pressure in fuel 4 goes up, pushing a weight upward, thus the fuel is spouted into the charging cylinder 11 from an injector nozzle 10. In the above constitution, a bellows type seal member 12 and an annular seal member 13 directly contacting a push rod 15 are installed in two spots, top and bottom, of this push rod 15, through which an air passage 14 is made to interconnect the intermediate part, thereby making supercharging pressure act thereon, thus a fuel leakage is prevented from occurring.

場合は燃料洩れを防止することは困難であった。即ち、
ピストン式加速ポンプはピストンを作動させるブツシュ
ロッドが外部に露出しており、更にこのブツシュロッド
を軸方向に移動させているので漏洩防止はむずかしい。

コネクテイングレバ−6を回転させ、この動きがポンプ
ロッド7、ポンプレバー8に伝えらj′してピストン2
が押し下げられて燃料4の圧力は上昇し、ウェイト9を
押し上げてインジェクタノズル10から給気筒11内に
噴出する。

用気化器において、上記加速ポンプのブツシュロッドの
上下2個所に弾性体を用いたシール部を設け、その中間
部に過給圧を作用させるごとく構成したことを特徴とす
る過給機付エンジン用気化器。 2、上記シール部材が、上下いずれか一方を蛇腹式シー
ル部材として上記ブツシュロッドとの摩擦を減少させ、
ピストンのダンパスプリングのセット荷重を利用して装
着した気密保持部である特許請求の範囲第1項記載の過
給機付エンジン用気化器。
