  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 棒状をなすシャンク２と、立方晶窒化ホウ素および／ま
    たはダイヤモンドを主成分とした高圧相焼結体で形成さ
    れた切刃部分４および超硬合金で形成された合金部分５
    からなる複合切刃チップ３とを具備するとともに、この
    複合切刃チップ３が前記シャンク２に対１、小径で、し
    かもその一端から凸出するように取付けられた回転切削
    工具において、 前記複合切刃チップ３は、少なくとも切刃部分４が軸方
    向１こ延びており、しかもその軸方向の中心線上に略位
    置する切さい平面８が、切削上のすくい面を構成するこ
    とにより、その半径方向では、正面側の切刃稜１１が形
    成され、またその外周方向では、外周側の切刃稜９がそ
    れぞれ形成されるよ−うにしたことを特徴とする回転切
    削工具。
